Free off-street parking. Great senior services at the Ironworks building including free weekly blood pressure screening and low-cost lunch meal. The Bronzeworks building across the street has many activities including room rentals for private gatherings along with art and craft fairs.

Had a Madison Art Guild meeting here on a Tuesday night for a member discussion on Art Shows. Very nice room where the speakers were able to access the large screen for a power point presentation. Excellent acoustics. There was plenty of seating for a group discussion. Highly recommend as a community meeting space.

Great community center. Always events and things to do to help the community. I was a volunteer for a Thanksgiving basket event. That was a really good time and what they do for the community. I want to be able to donate my time to a place that will always be there for the community. It warms my heart.
The Goodman Community Center is a mission-driven organization, serving more than 35,000 people annually ages 3-103.
Goodman currently houses a preschool, 4K, afterschool programs for all ages (including countywide Girls Inc.), an alternative high school, an older adult program, food pantry and a fitness center. We also rent our rooms out to individuals, private corporations and community groups on a daily basis.
Goodman operates out of two beautifully restored buildings: Ironworks at 149 Waubesa St. and Brassworks just across the street at 214 Waubesa St.
