We had a 240 gb SSD drive for a Red Digital Cinema camera which held video clips & had a “rollout” before card would not work. The card would not mount to the iMac or camera. We took it to a local company and they were unable to retrieve any data. They suggested a forensic data recovery and gave us info for Gillware. I called around to a few other places and read reviews before deciding to contact Gillware. From my first phone call interaction to the day I received my missing data, I was impressed with the prompt communication, the people I spoke to on the phone were very kind and helpful. I was thrilled to hear that Gillware was able to retrieve ALL of the missing footage and we didn’t need to reshoot anything! Also the turnaround time was so fast! Even with the basic processing time, I had my drive in hand in less than a week! Although I’m sure that varies depending on the issues one has. Had I known this, I would have sent it to Gillware the moment we knew something was wrong. This saved so much time, convenience, energy and money!!! Although a little more on the higher end price wise, it was 100% worth it to get back every bit of what we lost. Can’t thank Gillware, it’s staff and techs enough for retrieving what we thought was lost forever.

Gillware was so easy to work with. Their commuications were clear and prompt. They turned around my data recovery very quickly and recovered 100% of the data. The instructions for decrypting the disks they sent were clear and easy to follow. They aren't cheap but lost data is far more expensive! I hope I never need to use them again but I am very grateful for their services this time. Highly recommend!

Great response time, very easy to work with. So far data was always recovered, though clone drives could not be made, because of bad sectors.

Gillware is now prominent in my Contacts list for TWO reasons: two separate catastrophic episodes of significant data loss, both of which were almost 100% rescued by the experts at Gillware. The second and most recent one occurred when my 2015 desktop computer abruptly crashed and could not be brought back to life. An Apple product (I'm still a fan, regardless), so I wasn't able to remove the internal discs--one conventional, one solid state. But Gillware was. I shipped the entire computer to them (I had no other choice), and they first analyzed the job at hand and soon quoted me a price. That's the terrific thing with them: they give you an option, before committing to their service. I agreed, and in less than a week it was done. They mailed me a new external drive encrypted to protect my data with instructions how to unlock it using a password they furnished. When I did, virtually every single piece of data that had been held hostage by my failed computer was there for me to access. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Ten out of ten.

Hey..... it wasn't cheap, but it was WAY LESS than trying to figure a way to replace the files. They were very fast and were able to recover about 99% of my files.
I hope I never have to use them again, but if I'm in the same situation, they will be my first go to.

My 2 NVME 2.0 drives got fried in my laptop and the local recovery place couldn't save them. They recommended Gillware and we sent them off. Gillware was great every step of the way, and the saved every bit of my data. Great company and will always recommend them to everyone in need of data recovery.

My tech department told me there was nothing they could do to salvage the contents of my 1TB external hard drive. When I electronically reached out to Gillware, they contacted me almost immediately, and within a week I had all of my files back and ready to go. They recovered most if not all of the data/pics I thought I had lost. Not everyone may be as lucky as me, but I highly recommend their services. They were johnny-on-the-spot with communication and letting me know where everything was at in the process. Hopefully I won't be a repeat customer (saying that in the nicest way possible), but if I need their help, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again!

No one likes computer issues ... NO ONE! Especially the borderline I.T. ignorant such as myself. The fine folks at Gillware made a stressful situation quick and easy to deal with. The explained everything clearly and completely and kept in communication with me throughout the data recovery process of my crashed hard drive. In the end. Highly recommend their services and making them your computer crashing therapists!
