“The staff at Slumberland are always kind and respectful. I HATE sales staff that continue to hover over you. Staff here are not that way. Simply ask how you are doing and if you need anything. They always make a point that they are available if we have any questions. We've been to all of the other furniture stores in the greater Madison area and we always seem to find what were are looking for at Slumberland. They always beat the competition in price. We've bought most of our new furniture at Slumberland and I imagine we will continue to. Very happy with the purchases we've made and the buying experience.”

“Was unsure if the purple pillow I had looked at other stores was the option I wanted to go with, as they only had a few options. I called Denver mattress and spoke with Matt asking about pillow options after shopping at 3 other stores he informed me they had a decent selection of purple pillows there and encouraged me to come take a look as he stated it was the best pillow he has bought yet. He was right low pro harmony was the ticket. Matt the manger was very knowledgeable and friendly and cared what you had to say.”

“Century House furniture delivery staff members Brady and John were outstanding!! We have a 1938 house that has smaller door openings. They did their remarkably professional assessment of the sectional’s and the doorways’ dimensions. They figured out how to position our new furniture so well, that by a hairs-breadth it made it unscathed into our downstairs living room. “We bought our kitchen bar stools from the stool store several years ago, and I have to say they were one of the best values we have purchased in years. While they are not particularly cheap, they have continued to look like the day we purchased them despite heavy use. And the store really supports you after the sale if you have questions. “I had visited Rubin’s a dozen times over the years and had always wanted a really nice sofa. When the time was finally right, we visited the new showroom and ran into JJ. After narrowing our selection down to 2 sofas, JJ visited our home to lend his design expertise and draw up how each sofa would fit into our space. We settled on the Titan and some additional recommendations for our space and couldn’t be happier. Delivery was white glove and after sale communication has been great.Purchasing a piece from Rubin’s is a big deal, these are high quality pieces that are accompanied by high quality service. “This store has everything you didn't know you needed. There is something in every aisle that calls the money out of your pocket if you are not careful. I love how spacious the store is. Love the layout. It makes browsing seamless. Love the cleaners of the store and crisp smell. Very inviting atmosphere, which can be dangerous, especially if you are on a budget.”

“Rubin's is either your cup of tea or not. The styles are generally modern, Scandinavian inspired and very interesting. We stopped at their warehouse/larger store (there is also a design center downtown) and found a large showroom full of things I'd very much like to buy. There's a clearance area off to the side that sells floor models and returns at good discounts. We were looking for some lounge-y chairs and there were options aplenty. Helping us was very knowledgeable Barb who was never intrusive and let us look around. After making the rounds, we kept coming back to one specific chair - Barb let us know they had 2 in stock from a cancelled order (most things are made to order) in our preferred color, plus they were included in their anniversary sale. SOLD!! I work on the commercial furniture side and felt that the quality here was oberall very high and the prices, for what you get, are pretty fair. It's not IKEA prices to be fair but it's also not made in China crap that will fall apart and bottom out in a few months. You'll love it if: you appreciate mid century or modern design, want a high level of quality, want to customize items. You won't like it if: you need cupholders in your furniture.”

The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable and showed me things I didn't notice (like the fact that a rack with flowy skirts also had pants) and that you sell belts and on and on. Drive over an hour just to see your place(s) and it uplifted my soul as always!! ?”
