A brilliant little bookstore that gives proceeds to the library. The person manning the shop was very nice and helpful. I found a few gems and left very happy.

In a somewhat odd spot no manga but good fiction section for the deals.

Little bookstore within the library that sells library surplus books and CDs at very low prices. The selection is odd, you never know what you will find here. Because of the low prices it's hard to walk out of here empty handed.

About Friends of Madison Library Bookstore
We are the Friends of Madison Public Library (Central) Book Store — cash-only, volunteer ran! The Book Store, located on the first floor of the Central Library, sells used and donated books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs, generally for $2 or less. The Friends use sale proceeds to support the Madison Public Library.
