I've had one glaring concern after getting a volkswagen, and that is the fear of costs and uncertainty whenever I have a car issue i cant self-adress. These guys? Consider that fear a moot point now haha.
Prices: Completely reasonable, ur looking at like 60 bucks/hr for labor
Professionalism: Can diagnose an issue based off of symptoms alone,and wont talk down to you.
Timeliness: If it isnt a manufacturer issue, and oblnly mechanically intensive, they can get u back on the road DAY OF.

I spoke with Dave who provided me with a level of knowledge and honesty that can’t be found with dealerships or quite frankly any other independent repair shop I’ve dealt with. I ended up declining the repair due to personal timing issues. However, the initial customer service was five stars and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Reliable repair shop. They do good work, and at a lower cost than the two VW dealers in town. I recommend them for any VW issues that you may have. I trust them.

I’m so glad I stopped going to the dealership! Dave came highly recommended and when my VW had a few things go wrong, I decided to give him a try. Due to my schedule and needing to drop and pick up my car at night (very convenient process, btw), I have yet to meet Dave in person. But from our phone conversations, detailed invoices and general business practices I know he is a knowledgeable, hardworking and honest guy.
I’m happily zooming around in my VW again and know I’ll be in good hands the next time it needs some work.

From the start, Dave was honest, transparent, and careful to explain everything. Also, you can't beat their prices or quick scheduling! Highly recommend if you need work done on your Volkswagen.

Dave and Sam are absolutely fantastic. As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, Dave never makes me feel silly for asking questions. He sets expectations regarding what could be wrong and the cost to repair before doing any work. The work they do is great and the prices are fair. As long as I own a VW and live in Madison, Courtesy Auto is the only place I'll go.Services: Electrical repair
