“I visited Graphite after getting told by the Apple Store after a quick diagnostic that my computer needed a new screen that would cost $600. Graphite staff offered to open it up and check for loose cables or other mechanical problems for an $80 fee. I ended up buying a new machine, as the Apple Store was correct and my computer was old enough that a $600 repair was just not worth it. The staff at Graphite were helpful in helping me choose a new machine, also, accommodating and patient during my time of stress. Communication was a bit sparse but all in all a positive experience!”

“I brought them a laptop that needed its screen replaced. Boa quoted a very reasonable estimate based on the nature of the necessary repair, and said it would be ready in 1-2 weeks. Three business days later, to my pleasant astonishment. I received a message notifying me the repair was finished. Included were screenshots documenting the end result, and a final price equal to the initial estimate I was given. I am extremely satisfied with their work and I am extremely satisfied with the experience I had doing business with them. From now on they will be my "go-to" business for computer repairs and I would absolutely recommend them to other people.”

“I received a gift certificate from my dad for Christmas. He works right down the street, so I have always been familiar with City Detail. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I dropped my car off in the morning, and received a call at about 1:30 pm that they were finished. When I went to pick my car up at the end of the day, I couldn't believe how clean my wheels were! The car looked brand new, inside and out. I was especially impressed with the inside detail- you know, the hard to reach places and crumbs that get caught between the seats? Those were all gone. I have a toddler, so I wish I had taken a before picture to show the crushed Cheerios and Goldfish, and how amazing the floors look now. Again, toddler in tow, so there were marks on the leather, etc. Those are now all gone! I will definitely be back to City Detail, and will be telling everyone I know that they are the place to go.”

“I'm a huge fan of supporting small businesses, but after calling all the ones who would carry this item, and finding none, I ended up calling Office Depot. I saw online that they had the calendar that I wanted, after forgetting to buy one earlier in the season. The man who answered the phone was friendly and was happy to hold one at the register for me to pick up that evening. When I arrived, the store was clean, pleasant music playing, and mostly empty, which during a pandemic is a very good thing. Not so good for them probably but good for me. Everyone was masked, there was plentiful signage about masking and sanitizing. The cashier greeted me and asked if she could help right away.I explained what I had come for and she had it right there for me. Not the usual experience at a big box store! Because I had some time to kill I wandered the aisles, and found a couple more things I could use. I really appreciated their efforts to get me just what I wanted very easily and pleasantly.”

The staff made sure I was backed up, then set me up with a replacement phone through AppleCare. The whole process took about an hour.I wish I could remember the names of the two gentlemen that helped me. Both of them were amazing, they both deserve kudos for the great experience.”

“This place is outstanding. I had issues with my PC since I bought it for almost two years, to the point where I wasn't using it knowing that I would prob encounter an issue. It seemed like every issue was unique but it turns out it was because the cooling system was broken! I would have never been able to detect this on my own because the fans were spinning but the radiator wasn't working. Boa took the time to explain my options, give me her best advice, and even (without asking or upcharging) took the old fan off the radiator and added it to the new radiator so I have 3 fans exhausting heat to keep the PC cooler. I also called around before I ended up here and Boa was extremely reasonable with her rates. I've been using my PC non-stop since bringing it back and I haven't had a single problem since! Thank you, Boa! If I ever have issues again, I know where to go.”
