On-site service was fine. Rooms are OK for the price. The pool area is miniscule and feels crowded with more than 5 people.My big issue is that they double charged me for the room, and customer service (Cambria, not this specific location) refused to help resolve the problem. I booked through my credit card to use a travel credit, and when I checked in the front desk person asked for my card for incidentals. However, they charged for the room and refused to refund it. I have disputed this with my credit card company.Rooms: We had a basic suite. It was fine, but I would expect higher quality building materials for this price. Bed was not particularly comfortable.Nearby activities: It's kind of a corporate area - chain restaurants, businesses, etc. It's probably fine if you're there for business or the hospital.Walkability: You're not walking anywhere from here.

We usually stay at the Cambria when we're visiting from out of town. We like the location as it's quick to get on the highway to go into Sun Prairie to see family. It's located within a business park so if you're looking for walking distance to shops/restaurants, you would need to drive a few miles. This time, our experience wasn't what we were expecting. It was over Thanksgiving, so when we checked in, we were notified that there would be limited staff so they can have Thanksgiving with their families. That meant no house keeping or the usual breakfast, but they would have grab and go available (which consisted of fruit filled pastries and fruit juice). I can respect this decision and I'm happy their staff can have the day off. Athough they said they worked be back to normal operations the next day, the Friday after Thanksgiving. However, that was not the case at least for breakfast the next day. They served the same fruit filled pastries, fruit juice, but added cereal to go, and old fruit (see photo). Due to the highly processed options and high sugar content, we skipped breakfast again. Housekeeping was working, but we were checking out to move over to the Holiday Inn Express across the interstate. Other than they appeared to be short staffed, the beds were not comfortable and the heater in our room made a high pitch squeal coming from the motor that we finally had to turn it off as it kept us up at night (room 304). We also noticed we didn't have comforters, just layers of sheets on the beds and what looked like crumbs when I pulled back the sheets. We didn't complain and just made the most of it under the circumstance.

Excellent! Towels are lovely! I like the dark color wash cloth for face with makeup words on it. Sunday, we were taking showers between 7:45 - 8:45 am, and the water never got hot or even lukewarm, including the water in the sink. It was difficult to shave.Rooms: The room was clean and very comfortable.Nearby activities: It is nice that you are close to Erin's Snug Irish Pub. It's easy to get back to after leaving Camp Randall after a Badgers football game!Food & drinks: Coffee is really good. Thank you.

This has long been our go to when we visit family in Madison. When we were there last time we couldn't track down anyone to help sort out a non functioning toilet. After several calls went unanswered, my husband went to an empty lobby. He came back up, we were going to leave and refuse payment. He wanted to give it one more try. He finally wandered into the labyrinth of offices and found someone who just gave us a new room. Our initial room was dusty, The hardwood floors were dirty. I'm sure they used to be carpeted. I wonder if some hedge fund bought this formerly lovely hotel to squeeze it into oblivion. It won't be our choice next time.

Room decor and bedding are cheap and not comfortable. Appearance and cleanliness was good. But furnishings and bedding was not comfortable. Also, not a good room rate for this location. Recommend stay at one of many other locations with better furnishings near the center of Madison. Disappointed.

On the second night, happened to pull out one of the drawers and found a whole bunch of stuff that was missed when the room was cleaned. There were a bunch of those packet things with nicotine, like spitless chew. There was a used vape cartridge, an empty pack of smokes, a ridiculous amount of business cards, and some matches. Seems like whoever had the room before me was struggling a bit. The thing is, that makes me worried about the less obvious stuff that isn't getting cleaned. Made me kind of nervous too, my 4 year old easily could've been the one to find this.

Hotel is well maintained and clean. Location was great for a conference I was attending. Room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. Had a bar with several beer options, wine and cocktails. Food was okay for hotel bar food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It was comfortable and clean. I feel like the hotel was constantly being cleaned, everywhere I went, and it showed.

Was very clean. Rooms were nice and spacious. Would have been a 5 if not for the pool. It was ridiculously tiny. Nearly unusable.Noteworthy details: Pool is TINY! More of a puddle

Great location close to airport and in a safe area. Hotel and room are very clean and modern with room to work. Bed was soft with lots of pillows. Front service desk attendant was very friendly and check in was fast. Room had all the necessary appliances.

Very nice property with all the amenities, including a well appointed fitness center, full bar, restaurant, convenience store.In the room you will find coffee, fridge, microwave and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion).Very pleasant staff - great service.
