I live and work in the area and frequent this store. The newer operators have cleaned the place up and always been polite. Never had an issue with anything. It is East Washington ave so you get all kinds of people passing through. Not 24 hours.

Okay, as a long-time east-sider, I will tell you all what is going on with this place. There are a lot of homeless that frequent this area. On top of it, this gas station sells a lot of that high potency or high gravity malt liquors that these homeless people desire. To make matters worse, there is/was a bus shelter where they could hang out and drink, even in inclement weather. Right there is a perfect storm.Now, I think the city got rid of that bus shelter, but the bus stop is still there. There have also always been a lot of cheap motels in the vicinity. Additionally, they moved the homeless shelter from downtown to within walking distance of this establishment. So now it is probably worse than it was a few years ago, despite the bus shelter being gone. Especially in warmer times of the year. Blizzard in July!Do not think the owners don't know. They are making a lot of money from all that liquid death they sell to the vagrants. Then, the clerks have to put up with these often blackout drunken and obnoxious problem-makers, including them stealing and threatening them. So I cannot blame the clerks for being in a bad mood when I would go in.So that is basically how it works down there. I personally just recognize it for what it is and have had little or no problems there, including when I was waiting for busses there, but I would not hesitate to knock any of them out if they really bothered me. Regardless, I do avoid the place like the plague.

A bp gas station right off the highway. It's convenient, not the cleanest or well illuminated at night, but it works. The cashier was very nice as well.

It's amazing how far I will drive to ensure I'm getting the cheapest gas, risking running out of fuel somewhere. I opted NOT to do that today as the price was right and it was on my way.The neighborhood is busy and therefore I was paying close attention as the fuel poured in.Was it clean? Not especially. Did everything work? Yes, the receipt printer worked fine and I had no need to go inside the service station today.

They are NOT 24 hours, I'm driving back from Canada and stopped here for gas. No one is here and I only have cash. Guess I'm parked outside until someone comes in to work, whenever..no store hours on the door either.Edited: They finally opened at 6am, customer service was standard.

I stopped to use the EV chargers next door. The charging location was clean and tidy but there was a clear line where the gas station owns property. Trash laying out everywhere, the property clearly was not cared for or respected and a lady I believe may have been the owner was yelling at someone. I went inside to use the restroom (absolutely atrocious) and buy snacks only to find that I was clearly overcharged but the cashier could not (or pretended not to?) understand what I was saying. Avoid this location at all costs.
