some combination of poor website documentation, ineffective on-site help with activation/transfer, and unclear requirements lead to my buisiness with them being a huge waste of time.
website: "pick up a SIM at the store and it will be easy"
store: "here's a SIM. if you need help, just go online. I can't help you here."
webCS: "Just follow the steps and it will be easy"
me : "Step 1 says the SIM ICCID I bought 20 minutes ago is invalid"
website: "go back to the store. i can't help you"
(You know where this is going, and it's not a good use of my time. )
A) their website lists devices that are compatible with their network
B) SIM cards needed for activation have a different incompatibility list.
ONLY requirement A is listed at the website and checked for compatibility. Repeated requests for a SIM i cannot use fall on deaf ears. A company I was unable to become a customer of conned me out $25.

I had an outstanding customer service experience with Boost Mobile! Now I am probably getting his name wrong--I know it's on my receipt but I can't find it. His name is Herun--(something like that)!Anyway, he was so incredibly polite and helpful. He was kind and didn't make me feel stupid with the questions that I asked. He was patient--everything I expect from any customer experience but rarely get these days!It's time like that when I wish the whole experience could have been recorded and used as a training for others!Thank you so much!

Phenomenal customer service. I came in to activate an unlocked phone recently and the Jamaican guy that was running the store that day replaced my SIM while simultaneously helping another customer and managing a call with a disgruntled customer. Despite the fact that he was juggling 3 different requests he was attentive and responded to any questions we had in clear terms and diffused the call with the customer. Boost as a cell provider isn't going to be on par with Verizon or AT&T but the store manager that works at this location is who you hope will pick up the phone if you need to resolve a problem quickly.

I had Virgin Mobile service, they merged with other companies so they sent Me a new SIM. I went to the store and they put it in. My service stopped. It would work randomly only after I rebooted and reset My Network service. I went through all the technical support help online and phone ( the incredibly unhelpful manager on the phone suggested I call LG). I have an LGK51, which boost sells. I finally got the new SIM in the mail and the SIM wont recognize. the date is 8/9/2021 and the customer service rep at the store that closed was incredibly rude, condescending and said I had to buy a new phone. I went to a new store to get a new phone with a new company. They wont give My account number unless I go to the store. The store says I have to call them to get the account number. I stayed on the phone with them and the supervisor said he couldnt give Me My own account number even though I had everything icluding the card I pay for the service on. Now I have no service ( that I am paying for) and My phone is basically a small tablet I can only use at home. If I could give 0 stars I would. worst customer service ever.

The store never has a line very fast service and usually they can speak English and Spanish. One of the best priced phone plans in the state. I never leave the city “Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago” so the phone service is good. The phone service can be poor quality in smaller towns and back country roads but if you are in the city 90% of the time this is hands down the best company for you.

She put the wrong screen protector on my phone and had debris underneath and had bubble. Charged me 45$ that was not on my receipt. Also lied about the actual "purchase price" when financed, advertised at 129.99 and charged me 163.00 very miss leading and uninformative suggestive selling. Will not return.

I have been a Boost customer for over 5 years. Cannot believe that this store would insist on charging me $25 for a SIM card to continue my Boost account on a new phone. I promptly went to another store and got it for free. I hate these kind of scams. I am probably going to switch to another carrier because of this experience.
