My go-to local battery resource (Madison West side) when I need something ASAP. Car battery, key fob battery, small appliance battery replacement all went smoothly. No experience with cell phone battery replacements yet. Good online discounts, check for sales periodically. Helpful and professional employees. Treat them with respect and get treated respectfully in return.

My partner went in there to get a simple key fob battery replacement on the fly and they tried charging her $180. Told her no, it’s way easier to order a simple $10-$12 battery and I’d do it. Really disappointed if they tried to rip her off but even more baffled if they’re charging a simple key fob battery replacement at such a high price. 8/13/2024

Took my phone in for a glass replacement. When I got it back, it had no SIM card so I had to go in, and he said, oh yeah, it's probably in the wrong one. Fix that since then, GPS connection lost can't use my maps.

I'd say infinitely more professional than the east side location, but 200% of zero is still zero.
Helpful, professional, personable staff that will try to help you with your problem.
I had my doubts when I noticed the staff was all male, but they were genuine and chill, I left feeling better than when I entered and I much appreciate that.
They definitely didn't actually replace my battery with a new one though

I tell all my friends (and they are business owner friends) that Jess, the manager at this location, is very helpful. I mention to my friends will not leave the store with the wrong product in hand. Personality and informed service is what all stores could feature. Those friends of mine that have already gone to this location tell me Jess is very competent and they go to him repeatedly. Great site location too.

I was able to order the battery I needed online and pick it up in the store. A friendly and professional employee installed the battery in my handheld vacuum for me. With a 18% discount the price of the battery was competitive. At the time of day I was there, parking was easy. The store personnel were readily available. The reason I didn't give five stars is because they had no information at the store about which was the right battery to fit my handheld vacuum. I had to read on their website and on the vacuum makers website to confirm the correct battery to purchase.

Came for a car battery yesterday and was extremely grateful they were able to install my car battery in -20 weather I had to pay an extra fee but with as cold as it was I understand. I can’t imagine being upset when I got a fast install with as low weather as it was.

The battery appears to be a good product and the convenience of their service is helpful. I purchased the battery in advance online and selected the free installation option. However, when I arrived I was informed that store policy required a $40 cold weather installation fee, since the temperature was below 32F (the temperature was 27F and sunny, no wind). This fee was discounted to $20, and billed as a Premium Auto Installation Kit (for which none of the additional advertised premium installation services were performed). There is nothing stated on the website that indicates a cold weather installation fee of this type would be charged, and the employee offered that I can "come back when it is warmer". This hidden fee is something I have never encountered at a BatteriesPlus, and creates a dishonest feeling from the employee and from the store's policies towards the customer. I do not see how this is a good policy for the reputation of this store.

Not only did the Batteries Plus have the special battery required for my Silverado, but Colton installed it for me, in the parking lot, in 28 degree weather, AND in the dark. Top Shelf service!
