Very fun store. I bought a beautiful necklace made by a local artisan. Some of the items are pricey but not all. There are many creative items. The atmosphere is happy. The store is well organized and clean. It was easy to park in the street during the weekday. She offers classes that look very fun. Great place to buy gifts.

It's a super feminist store (nothing wrong with that, but should be named appropriately).I drove 2 hours to pick up my son after his last class for the day, to just go "hang out" together on Monroe Street, have lunch, visit the funky shops. We had an awesome day together, THEN this was the last place we visited. My son wasn't even greeted by the woman with purple hair when he entered, but I was immediately (he's always taken pride in holding doors open for women, very polite, courteous, etc.). As we excitedly started to explore, it was quick to see that the store is almost entirely devoted to "female empowerment".While I think that's a great idea, I didn't like how it felt like my son (even though we've always enjoyed smelling nice candles, soaps, funky art, etc together since he was a toddler) wasn't "welcome" there, just for being a guy.I cut the visit short, and as we were leaving, I was kinda seething. The purple haired lady thanked me as I was leaving (I didn't say a thing), my son said, "Thank you! You've got a really cool store! Have a good day!" he only got a "thanks".It should really be called something like "Women and Women First", not a generic "Artsy Fartsy".

This store is the cutest and the owners are absolutely lovely! The first time I visited this store was on a First Friday and the ladies were so warm and welcoming! The second time I visited upon paying for my items, the owner offered me a little discount as she had noticed I was having a frustrating phone conversation and she wanted to brighten my day. It was the kindest and most thoughtful gesture and so very appreciated! The store is full of so many fun little inexpensive treasures; whimsical paper products and cards that are sure to bring a smile to your face! Needless to say, I will come back again and again!

I first discovered Artsy Fartsy at a local craft fair and was so excited to hear they had a storefront! The shop is such a fun, feel-good spot with a bright, colorful, and highly welcoming indoor environment. One of the owning partners was working and was absolutely lovely. She went above and beyond to help me research some of the plants (for pet friendliness) and was just very kind and easy to chat with. Artsy Fartsy is definitely a new personal favorite, and I will gladly be back!

I finally went into Artsy Fartsy today after admiring it from the street many times. Really cute inventory, and good variety. The lady working was great; my friend had an excited child and she handled it like a champ. Def stop in if you're looking for something cute for you or a friend!
