A license plate screw got lost while replacing the plate on a holder with a plastic frame. Because of the frame the standard screw for this car was too short. The Ace staff patiently tried a few screws until they found the right length. Spent a good 10 minutes to help me get the correct $2 part. Awesome customer service!

I absolutely love shopping here. I’d like the big box stores the employees say hello and ask how they can help and lead you right to what looking for. They also have good ideas for projects.

Ace was able to cut us a new key for our 2010 Honda that the dealer had told us they couldn’t get anymore/couldn’t program. Cut the same day, took maybe 10 minutes.

Purchased a griddle grill online as a wedding gift. It was on their registry from another vendor but was on backorder. Ace had it for the same price, plus they provided free delivery (the other vendor wanted $150 to ship!) and free setup because we are rewards members. I spoke with Eric the day before delivery and he confirmed all was in order. The grill was delivered on time and the couple is thrilled with it. Thank you Ace Lakeside!

I stopped at the ACE on Cottage Grove Road to get a piece of glass for a shadow box. The box itself was broken and had been glued and stapled many times. The manager took it upon himself to create a brand new display case. He did this out of the kindness of his heart. I can’t thank him enough. This box has a special meaning for me and my family. It was my Dads medals from the time he was in the Navy aboard the USS Indianapolis.

Wonderful selection of tools and house supplies. Very wheelchair friendly, for my power wheelchair. The staff are amazing, answering all my questions, and helping my wife when a medical crisis occurred on-site.

I needed a receipt from a year-and-a-half ago because the original was too blurry for the manufacturer to honor our warranty. Called this morning and encountered very helpful and persistent staff that were able to get me what I needed after some thoughtful troubleshooting.Thanks Ace!
