Course was really nice and well taken care of, but the the food was sub par and they didn't even make our food correctly. Also the man who checked me in for the tee time was very rude

first off, I do not normally write a negative review on a business since they have enough to deal with given a pandemic, shutdowns and additional safeguards, cleaning etc. unfortunately, my experience playing here yesterday was unpleasant. we were told to tee off on the 10th- no issues there. the front nine was great. course conditions average but, the greens were in excellent condition. the second nine was a nightmare. playing through, we find a fivesome on the tee after we had followed a twosome on the first nine. they were apparently starting an 18 hole round and had let the twosome we followed play through. I went to the starter and asked what was going on and he asked if they had offered to let us play through. I told him they had not. he asked if I wanted him to speak with them. I refused since the fivesome appeared to be regulars. they did allow us to play through the following hole but, told us the foursome ahead of them were very slow and "good luck playing through them". They were indeed very slow, chatting with the cart girl, taking their time on the green etc. they never allowed us through.We finally were able to jump ahead by playing seventeen and then finishing on hole nine. I can handle slow play. I can not endure inserting large groups between groups playing through and playing behind arrogant regulars. All this on a Wednesday mid-day round.

We got seated after 15 minutes, waitress never took our order, and 2 other tables of people arrived after us about 30 minutes later. And the waitress took their order before us, cleaned a different table next to us and still didnt take our order. Had to get the bartender to get our order. It was my first time eating here and it WILL be my last...they need to either whip the waitress into shape or hire help.

We are having our reception in the Barn. Nostalgic setting on a beautiful golf course. Staff is very helpful. Food is very good except the Prime Rib.
