Amazing new hotel, right on the Lake!

We stayed two nights at the motel, in July. It was just being completed. No TV or closet. Our son was getting married at his lake home a short distance away. It was totally clean and so convenient. The only problem were loud people from, we assume, the bar close by. This was at closing time. Otherwise no problems!

My family planned to go to Devil’s Lake state park and I randomly found this place on google map. Once reading the reviews, I decided to book the rooms. Rod, the owner, was very helpful with helping me getting 2 connecting rooms since there are 4 of us (my family and my parent). The rooms turned out to be more than I expected. And I am so grateful for this. We have a king room which is a complete 1 bedroom suite, with a full kitchen (like airbnb), dishwasher, living area. The connecting room is a 2 queens, that has a kitchenette (microwave and a coffee maker). Both rooms are spacious. The king room has a balcony looking out to the lake watching fishermen go out fishing or even filet fish on the grill in the evening. We had dinner at Fitz’on the lake right across the street. It was delicious. We enjoyed our stay and this place so much. The check-in and out was seamless. There are water sports gear for rent as well. On the minor notes: the bathroom towels are thin, and the pillows are quite tall. But this doesn’t decrease the value of this place for me. Will definitely want to come back during the summer to explore more.

After a major fire brought the original building down, the new owners have rebuilt this on the lake hotel into a more modern building. Rated are decent for the area and being in the lake. The bar and restaurant make it convenient to grab a drink and eats at the end of the day. Great place to stay.Rooms: ModernFood & drinks: Bar and restaurant on premise

We have been coming here for years and have always had a great stay. The rooms were always nice and clean but the rebuild after the fire is absolutely beautiful. The owner Rod is a genuinely great person. The views of the lake are beautiful. The live music is always great. It's the perfect getaway on the lake. There is not a bad thing to be said.

This no 5 star hotel, it is a dated hotel setting between two bodies of water. It has two very good restaurants one on site and a second across the street. Both have bar and awesome company. The hotel is an older hotel, however it is very comfortable and clean. Beds are not bad, water is hot with decent pressure. Plenty of coffee but no tea in the room. I have stayed quite a few times. I enjoy the lower rooms because of the quite and beautiful view of the lake. There is a firepit for use if you want, a grill to cook on, cleaning station for fish if you are fishing. The owner is very nice and easy to get along with. If you bring a boat, there is a dock available right at the hotel. If your looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not for you. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay. That is clean with amazing food, cold drinks and possible fishing then this is a no brainer. Stay here if you're in the area, it's waterfront charm will draw you back.

Stayed in the suite. No matter what way you look it's an amazing view. Cannot recommend it enough. Staff is superb.

Took my daughter fishing for a few days on Lake Wisconsin. Was referred here by Burhops which we rented a boat from. Very clean small motel with great view of the lake. The owner has the motel along with bar and grille on the property. The place is very well maintained and cared for. Excellent place to fish right by the bridge. Would go here again.
