My experience with WD Flooring LLC. I recently purchased a home with approximately 500 sq ft of beautiful, hardwood flooring. I wanted to extend this flooring into neighboring rooms but needed to identify the existing wood flooring first. I was able to remove a transition board and found a mill stamp for WD Flooring Inc. I contacted Heidi with WD Flooring who identified their product and told me to order the yellow birch select and better. I explained how this wood would be tied into my floors and she assured me this was the same product. I placed an order through a distributor for 700 sq ft. and then installed it without issue. Upon sanding my old floors which only had an oil based polyurethane finish, I realized the new wood was not the same as the old. They were very similar but one had more darker grain patterns throughout it. At this time, I contacted two flooring installers to determine the best course. They both immediately saw the difference and stated one was select grade and the other was common grade. Heidi had misidentified the grade. It was determined that the only remedy to ensure matching was to now replace my existing older floor to match the new flooring. I contacted Heidi about this problem who transferred me to Michelle. She stated it was my problem since I had installed it. I understood this but their misidentification also played a massive role. I explained that I was going to now have to purchase an additional 500 sq ft of their flooring to match what I had just installed and was pleading for any sort of assistance. After much argument, she said she would give me a “discount”. However, I couldn’t place an order since I’m not a flooring contractor. She told me that she would “watch for my name” on an order and give me some discount. I already had an estimate for the new order at this point (through one of the floor installers) and the final price never changed upon placing the order. I received no discount, no assistance, no apology, and no accountability from Michelle, Heidi, or WD Flooring Inc. at all. The product may be nice, but the customer service isn’t worth it in my opinion.

An excellent product which is superior to offerings from other companies. The wax oil finish is beautiful and extremely durable if properly cared for. Customer service is excellent! It’s no wonder that WD Flooring has won Wood Floor of the year, 5 times!

WD's product is beautiful. Customer service from an installation standpoint is the worst ever. No communication, never stays on schedule, weeks go by with any communication. We had two homes installed by WD recommended installers. There was a large credit due from the installer and from November 2020 -March 2021 no return calls, emails, texts; no communication at all. It is September 2021 and the second home's flooring has yet to be installed. Again, the product is beautiful; otherwise worst experience ever.

Great hardwood flooring from a great company. Now days finding good hardwood flooring is tough. WD is a breath of fresh air. Their milling is great as well as their grading. Their prefinished lines are absolutely fantastic. It’s is good to deal with A great company, I can’t say enough good about them.
