I went to two different shops to do my emission testing and they were closed due to short staff or because the machine broke down. I came to M&D Auto Services around 515ish-520ish and sat in the parking lot because I didn't know if they still did emission testing (knowing I didn't look at their website & they were closing at 6pm). I called and asked the gentlemen who answered the phone "Hi, are you guys still doing emission testing right now?" He replied saying, "No, we stop doing emissions after 430 pm." I was said, "oh okay" and he proceeded to ask me if I was the person sitting out in the parking lot and I said yes. He offered to do my emissions for me really quick because they weren't busy. I felt really bad, but I was so grateful that he was able to do my emissions for me. I appreciate that gentlemen so much! Good karma does come around! The shop was also very clean and tidy and the workers are also very respectful. I would 100% recommend coming to these guys for services!

I had a very positive experience with M&D Auto. My car died on side of road and, after calling many mechanics in the area, I had the car towed to M&D. Glad I did. Dave and the team had the issue resolved in less than 24 hours. Great and honest work all around.

We have had our three SUV's serviced at M&D. Dave is Excellent, his shop has a good sized staff and is kept very clean. The equipment is very modern and has been useful in figuring out what's wrong with my vehicles. The lobby/waiting area is clean, has Wi-Fi, Coffee, Drinks etc., if you chose to wait. Today they are replacing the transmission on one SUV with 250K+ miles. The cost was MUCH lower than we expected. They were recommended by a neighbor when we moved to Lannon in 2020. Dave and his team have been able to do diagnostics on the vehicles to determine the problems quickly and at a surprising price... a GOOD one, not a OMG moment. I also like that Dave explains things in a way that us non-mechanic types can understand, and additionally (if needed) will bring you out to the shop to walk around under the car on the lift to get a better understanding. I can honestly recommend to anyone in the area that needs auto service. Easy to find... when they were recommended to me, my neighbor said... to get on Main Street (heading out of Lannon) and when you see the School Bus lot.. look across the street.

I came to M&D when MacPherson struts on my car were rusted and made loud sounds on the slow sharp turns due to strut mount bearing issues. We agreed to replace both struts.Although I wanted OEM struts that turned out to be made in China, I was glad after Dave offered me to install cheaper U.S. made struts. I was totally satisfied with the excellent installation and alignment by M&D, as well as the fact that they found time for me on one of their busiest days of the week following New Year’s Eve.Ironically, I was lucky enough to observe developing sound related to strut mount bearing issues on one of the new struts during the next month. When I reported my concerns to Dave, he never questioned my conclusions and offered me to replace the defective part under warranty right away. I was really sorry for the technicians who had to do all the hard work again. It was absolutely not M&D’s fault. Unfortunately, you always have a slight chance to end up with a faulty part no matter where you get it from.On the positive side, we were making fun of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a badly assembled strut right from the factory. Dave told me he did not see anything like this before.I am very grateful to M&D workers who address my questions and concerns with all their patience and expertise as soon as they can. And I cannot stress enough how clean M&D's repair facility is!Thank you, Dave!Services: Steering/Suspension

Finally - an auto repair group that is professional, honest and friendly. This group is a true treasure! I have delivered my cars with various known and unknown problems and they have honestly and professionally diagnosed the problem and delivered my vehicle in excellent condition. I would recommend this shop without reservation and will continue to support them.
