Lakewood SuperValu is a great Northwoods grocery store with a great hometown atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and seem to enjoy working there. It is a small town grocery store with high quality seafood, poultry, pork, and beef. They stock some great items not found elsewhere, like applewood smoked country bacon. Customers note good prices and fair prices on good meats. While some things are more expensive, it remains a valued community store where friendly people shop. The store is tucked back in the woods, which can make it hard to find.
I always stop there when heading into the forest. Always find what I need and prices are good.

Staff is very friendly. It's sad to see bidenomics had taken its toll, though. Things are more expensive than I remember, but then again, everything is.
