I had a low tire light on so while I was getting gas, I decided to check my tire pressure. Kwik Trip across the street had an out of service sign on theirs so I ventured across to the BP hoping I could take care of things. A state trooper was filling up his spare tire while I waited and a car came after mine to check their tires before driving to Chicago for a family Christmas today. Sadly, the air pressure that was in my tire was sucked out and I was left with a very flat tire and of course I had left my cell phone at home because I was only going a short distance. I went inside to ask for assistance and one of the two female employees were very rude and unkind. The other just minded her own business after the rude one spoke her mind. The unkind one made comments of what did I expect, it's freezing out. When I shared that I didn't have my cell phone with me to even call anyone, they didn't offer to help, to call someone or the use of a phone. The grumpy one was going on about what did people expect, basically calling anyone looking to check their tires, stupid. Fortunately the kind family waiting to use the air station next offered to help. Ultimately they drive me home so that I could ask my neighbor to help. Thank heavens for the kindness of strangers. Mind you, the husband/father was all dressed up to drive to Chicago for Christmas and he was willing to change my tire in the cold and snow! While the two women inside who are supposed to provide customer service were being downright rude and cost this gas station another customer.I will never go into this station or recommend it to anyone after this unfortunate experience. Enough said. In a beautiful little town like Lake Mills, there is no room for this kind of behavior. And to think this is the day after Christmas. Someone must have gotten coal in their stocking! Where is the holiday spirit ladies????

If I could give it a zero I would. There’s an older guy with gray hair guy working the counter that has been extremely rude BOTH times I’ve been in there and I’m always nice to customer service people because I’ve been one and I know it’s NOT easy. Because I tried using an EBT card (which he said they didn’t take there but I’m almost positive I’ve used it there before on top of the card reader giving options for both EBT food and cash). But anyway, he ended up checking my ten dollar bill with a sigh struggle because I tried paying with EBT. I also didn’t want a Mtn dew because it had some stuff floating around in it, and so after I paid for what I was getting I walked away and he rudely said “I guess I’ll just go put away the Mountain Dew.” I just smiled and kindly said, “that’s okay. I’ll do it.” I get that the public can be rude to customer service people. But it’s also time customer service people do better for the public as well.

Don't go here.Wouldn't honor price. Lied to me about it.I bought some fountain drinks here. 44 oz. are priced at $1.29. Usually, I pay $1.36 after tax.Today, I got rung up for $1.78. I said, that doesn't seem right, the price is marked $1.29. "Oh, that's an old price. It changed a long time ago." She wouldn't sell it to me for the listed price.I literally bought one the night before for $1.36, and one the day before that for $1.36. This same lady charged me $1.36 last week for the same drink. Now she tells me, it's been $1.78 for a long time (even though it's not marked as that price anywhere).

I always used to stop here because they had reasonably priced E-85, however, they still advertise their E-85 well below what the market is selling at yet don't have functional E-85 pumps. I'll gladly stop at the kwik star across the street.

Bugaboodles is such a fun, unique, one of a kind stores that everyone needs to see for themselves! She has gifts, specialty items, holiday related items, but my favorite are all the bows!!! I had a baby girl in December and look at all of these!! Did I mention she PERSONALIZES?! Willow loves her bows!! Amy is a great business owner and supporter of the community! Stop in for a visit-you won’t be disappointed!

If anyone is looking for alterations for anything I highly recommend talking with Amy at Bugaboodles! She did amazing working on my wedding dress! Amy does a great job on sewing and embroidery! I love her selection of products. We had a stocking made for Christmas that turned out beautifully and I’m very excited about the Easter basket we just received. I wasn’t sure we were going to do Easter baskets this year but Amy’s Facebook shopping made it possible and gave me some retail therapy. Communication is thorough and timely for custom orders!

she is truly amazing! She was able to alter my wedding dress last min due to last min dress changes and it turned out amazing! highly recommend! She also added a corset without any instructions attached and advised me on what could be fixed to pull the dress together and it really worked
