“We had our wedding at Hawk’s View on June 29th, 2024. We could not have asked for a better experience! We booked the venue June of 2023 and consistently worked with the coordinator leading up to our wedding day, when in May we were told she no longer works for the company. This did create some concern as we were a month out from our wedding day. Matt, the general manager, assured us everything would go as planned and to remain calm. He really was wonderful with meeting our needs and expectations for the wedding day. He was extremely responsive and reachable, constantly keeping us updated with anything we needed to know. He made sure that everything we expected was still honored from the previous coordinator. In fact, he even went out of his way to make improvements for us regarding multiple aspects of the wedding. For our actual wedding day, it could not have gone more perfect! There was not a single thing that went wrong that day. Matt, Jack, John and Ashley were all incredible with making sure everything went extremely smooth. They were so kind, personable, and accommodating to us to ensure we had the best day and we really did. Our guests had a great time and so did we, and we had so many compliments about the food. We could not have had a better wedding day!! We are so extremely appreciative of all of the staff members at Hawk’s View that ensured this happened for us in the way that it did. We’re still kind of in shock at how perfectly everything went, but are forever grateful for it. We wish we could do a round two and relive this day. We would recommend this venue to all moving forward! This venue will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to visit! P.S. We left our cake dish at the venue and our baker requested that we bring it back to her. We contacted Matt and asked if he could ship it to us so we could eventually bring it back because we live about an hour and a half away from both the venue and the bakery. He responded by literally bringing the dish to the bakery himself so we didn’t have to worry about it. Truly above and beyond. All our gratitude!”

“My wife's company, Crazygirl LLC, worked a wedding at the Horticultural Hall a few weeks ago. This is a hidden gem in Lake Geneva! The hall and courtyard were wonderful! There is plenty of room for an event outside in the courtyard with the reception inside. There are screened in hallways that wrap around the courtyard, allowing the visitors to enjoy the Wisconsin weather without the bugs. They offered chairs and tables at no extra cost. Speaking of cost, rental was crazy cheap for the area. We hope to do many weddings there in the future!”

“Saw Tennessee Whisky there beautiful vintage yet modern feel! Sounds and lights were great! Staff was top notch! Be aware they only sell beer and wine, a nice little place next store if you’d like a drink before the show!”

“This bar had a great, authentic speakeasy vibe. The cocktails were delicious, and in addition to the Wisconsin old fashion, they made an excellent traditional old fashion, which made my bourbon-loving Kentucky boy husband super happy. If we lived in the area, it would be a regular spot for us.”

“They have upgraded this hotel! We were here last year & they really improved the ambiance. Our room had many conveniences. Microwave, fridge etc. Staff was friendly and helpful everything was clean well stocked. My only complaint is the bed was lumpy. But the view of the lake was amazing. We will stay here again.”

“The best thing about this hotel is the amenities. They have a salt water pool outside with lounge chairs, cabanas and pool side wait staff. There is also an indoor pool and a jacuzzi at each.

We borrowed their e-bikes and rode them into town. They were free to use!

The hotel hallways and rooms could use a refresh but overall not too bad.

A short distance from downtown Lake Geneva makes this hotel a fun option for those who don't want to pay downtown prices.

“Clean and updated room, but not very functional. One chair for 2 people is not enough, especially since the bed is very high. AC / heating unit sounded like a hurricane all night long. I didn't get any sleep, but my husband was completely fine with it. The location is very nice. Right by the lake. The restaurant has a nice view, but food was just OK.”

“The room was very nice. However it had a very strong chemical smell. Almost like it had been bombed for bugs or something. Also a lot of fruit Flys in the kitchen. We only stayed 2 nights. And we're gone all day. However, we wouldn't have been able to stay another night. It just was so smelly. Probably should have asked to move rooms. Told the desk upon leaving. They did absolutely nothing. We would definitely still come back. Maybe just speak up next time for the about of money spent there and the $250 incidentals they took out of my account at check in. Luckily that was returned day after we left, and not 5-7 days later.”
