Clean and updated room, but not very functional. One chair for 2 people is not enough, especially since the bed is very high. AC / heating unit sounded like a hurricane all night long. I didn't get any sleep, but my husband was completely fine with it. The location is very nice. Right by the lake. The restaurant has a nice view, but food was just OK.

First off, you should know, the bed photos in the pictures shown on Yelp are old. The beds are new since the remodel & are extremely high off the floor! Having stayed at the Geneva Inn before & looked forward to another stay. The rooms are updated & clean & if you can climb into a bed that is 3 feet high, you'll enjoy the hotel. Since I was aware that their beds are extremely high off the floor, making them very difficult for people with a handicap to get on the bed, when I booked our hotel this time, I asked if the hotel had lower beds & I was told by Kelsie, the rooms on the 1st floor are lower. I called two additional times to be sure our reservation was for a room on the 1st floor with lower beds. When we arrived at 2 PM, we were asked to wait until check-in at 3 pm, so we waited in the lobby until then. Upon entering our room at 3 PM, we were astounded to see the beds were just as high as the beds we had in previous stays! When I called the front desk & asked why we were given a room with high beds, I was told all the beds are like that, despite being told in 3 previous phone calls the beds on the 1st floor were lower! I even asked if they had a step we could use to get on the bed & I was told no, despite a photo here on Yelp showing a step next to one of their beds. There was no apology or suggestion from the hotel staff to help solve the problem. Since I've had both knees replaced & will face ankle surgery on both ankles, my only option was to sleep on a pullout couch with a thin mattress. I even had to make up the bed myself since no employee offered to do so for me. I eventually ended up sleeping on the room chair. Needless to say we checked out at 7:30 AM!

This place is a scam. You are not made aware of a 300 incidental fee until after you book. There is nothing about that on their website as you are booking. Basically, they take your money and then say hey....BY THE WAY there is a 300 incidental fee. This is by no means ethical as they do no make you aware of this until after you book with a nonsense email sent to you. I can understand maybe 150 MAX but this place seems to think they are a 5 star hotel and 300 dollars is completely absurd. We were able to book at the Bella Vista Suites without any nonsense fees and the view and room was awesome. I would highly suggest never booking here unless you want 300 dollars of your hard earned money being held hostage just because they have already accused you of potentially causing damage or racking a fee up at a bar or whatever silly nonsense excuse they have.

My significant other booked a room for us to get away for the weekend just to rest and relax. I was pleasantly surprised with how big the room was and the balcony that lead to a view of the lake. Even though the lake was frozen what a beauty it was to be there, see it and relax. A definite must go for everyone. We are looking forward to returning during the summer. The staff is super friendly, the place is so quiet and cozy gives it a nice homely touch.Rooms: Incredible huge room with a view to the lake.

Nice, quiet room. Welcomed with a glass of champagne as well as at dinner since it was our anniversary. Rooms and dinner were pricey, but it's Lake Geneva where money flows just won't be ours on a regular basis.

Very delightful Inn overall. Pretty views especially with leaves/snow fall. Convenient to get to spots around and staff was sweet and helpful. Only wish we had a hot tub in the room or in the building.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful overnight stay at The Geneva Inn. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff, who ensured a seamless and pleasant experience throughout our visit. The accommodations of our room afforded us a stunning view of the lake.The hotel's ambiance, particularly in the welcoming lobby and the inviting restaurant, contributed to an overall sense of comfort and sophistication. The option to take a leisurely lakeside stroll directly from the hotel premises was a noteworthy highlight, complemented by the thoughtful inclusion of nice bathrobes.The proximity to the town center allowed us to easily explore a few dining options, shops, and cafes. Our experience at The Geneva Inn was pleasing, and we extend our sincere appreciation to the entire team for their dedication to hospitality and creating a memorable stay.

When you come down to the lobby in the morning be papered to but your coffee ☕? no free coffee
Nearby activities: Alot of stores,restaurants ,boating ,excursions , boat rentals.ballon rides mountain biking trains,trains, bike trails, walking trails around the lake and many other things
