The room was very nice. However it had a very strong chemical smell. Almost like it had been bombed for bugs or something. Also a lot of fruit Flys in the kitchen. We only stayed 2 nights. And we're gone all day. However, we wouldn't have been able to stay another night. It just was so smelly. Probably should have asked to move rooms. Told the desk upon leaving. They did absolutely nothing. We would definitely still come back. Maybe just speak up next time for the about of money spent there and the $250 incidentals they took out of my account at check in. Luckily that was returned day after we left, and not 5-7 days later.

ROOM 435 only, not the service at the cove
Super disappointed with the owner of this suite. It is a loft suite, but in bad shape. The carpet is loose and old, totally outdated…TV in upstairs loft is broken, we had to fix the loose ceiling fan about to fall off, holes in the wall spackled and left unpainted. No shampoo in the upstairs shower. Stovetop had to be fixed by my husband…The couch needs to be replaced, the pullout bed from the couch you are literally sleeping in metal bars…crazy to pay $700 for 2 nights in this place. The managers and employees at the cove did offer a new room for us so that’s much appreciated. Maintanence and housekeeping did good and attentive. They probably shouldn’t be selling this unit though with this many issues. Just super disappointed anyone would have to pay that much to stay in this room.

If you are looking for a place with access to all the downtown amenities of Lake Geneva, this place is located right in the heart of it.
Walkability: Easy to access all of Lake Geneva.

My kids booked this for me for Father’s Day we drove 3 hours to get here and we get taken by a surprise that the pool is under construction went to the front desk they said they didn’t have to disclose this when we booked the room We ended up leaving the hotel going to the Abbeys now my son is fighting to get his money back from them. They were very rude about it.

Walkability: Easy walk to shops and restaurants.
If on a budget, this "resort" is not a great value. There is a mini kitchen to prepare meals.
Was shocked at a local restaurant that charged $4.99 for a glass of iced tea.
I get it, only busy during summer months, but don't overcharge. I might have gotten the dessert.

Visited The Cove for spring break and had a fantastic time. The suite we had was perfect and very nicely decorated. My kids enjoyed the pool and there's also a cute little game room. Being right on the lake is an added bonus. This wasn't our first time staying at The Cove and it won't be our last!
Food & drinks: There's a few great restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed in four separate rooms at The Cove for a family reunion. Room 205, 208, 243, and 406. The three one bedroom rooms on the lower level were all excellent. They are huge rooms, well decorated, full kitchen and have modern amenities. The upstairs room was a loft and it was more expensive. Unfortunately it was also the worst of the four rooms. The common area in that room was much smaller, and it wasn't as nice and updated as the other three rooms.
Other than that, the hotel was excellent. Check in was easy, it's clean, the indoor pool is nice, and it's in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay.
