The staff are friendly, helpful, and great, with real checkout clerks who can arrange more help. The bakery features donuts made from scratch that are highly praised. It is considered a very good grocery store with good produce and usually quite reasonable prices. The store is a great benefit to the community, with a wonderful family ownership that has been part of Lake Geneva for years. It offers a section dedicated to healthy and allergy friendly options, including some gluten-free goods, though some customers would like to see more variety and expansion of these specialty items. For those with severe allergies, ingredient information is critical, and while staff are helpful, some customers desire a more centralized source to scan and validate products against allergens. Overall, it is highly recommended to both locals and visitors.

This store has THE BEST fried chicken in the area and the Delli staff are also THE BEST!!! They systematically, and with a smile and good humor, wade through the sometimes 3-deep customers waiting for their Boars Head meats& cheeses; wide array of salads and other delli stuff; and, of course, fried chicken.
