this was in reference to galley lg since it is part of noure's oriental rug gallery and could not find gallery lg on yelp? well i never bought any original paintings from them however i have had original paintings that did not have a frame that they do great beautiful service with in framing original works of art. i went here recently on 05/07/23 to get a real painting framed. it was a beautiful one of the eiffel tower in paris france in the turn of the century (if not late 19th century) since it had horse driven coaches instead of cars. linda brettschnieder had a frame that went exactly well with that painting and was able to frame it on the a spot since i came from chicago looking for original paintings. i also had a painting frame prior that i am including pictures from 2020 when i bought a smaller painting on artfinder.com. during that time gallery lake geneva had limited custom frames and during the covid period but again they had by chance 3 limited but favorable frames and i choose the dark frame for my room since the scene was jazz players (one on piano the other on the sax in a dark background) that matched my yellow bedroom. i forgot the owner's name who assisted me and it was not linda but he gave me a solid choice. if in lake geneva do come to this art gallery for one of a kind paintings or a custom frame as well as oriental rugs from the middle east.

Charged a ridiculous price for cleaning; five times the quote given to do the work initially. DO NOT EVER HAVE A RUG CLEANED HERE. We were relocating and just now opened the rug to find more stains than when it went in, and we have pictures to prove it! They had it for months and by the look of it, I think they enjoyed it a while before rolling it up and charging me without cleaning it at all.

Rediculous prices. 3x what the actual artists sell them for. Steer away unless you want to be ripped off. They are clueless what they are even selling.

I dropped two rugs off at Noure's for repair and cleaning. He said they were nice rugs. Two weeks later he informed me that the rugs were ready. I asked how much the bill was and he replied, "$2600.00". I was expecting the bill to be about $600.00. He never gave me an estimate for the work, or asked if it was ok to go ahead with such expensive repairs. We settled the bill for $2000.00. Not because I thought that was fair, but because it was the only way I could get my rugs back. He basically held my rugs for ransom.This man is dishonest and a charlatan. I highly recommend that no one ever uses Noure's for any rug work.
