The moving experience was made easy by this professional mover. Our home furnishings were stored in pods while we secured a new home. We took comfort in the fact that our belongings were only handled once. Nothing was broken in the move and unpacking went smoothly. I would recommend this service.

**Same owner as Macs Moving Company LLC** Sharing here for visibility on both storage and moving services.Stay as far away from Macs Moving and Storage if you require services for out of state or cross country moves, including storing your items until the date of the move. Only giving one star because it is required to leave a review. This company subcontracts out of state/ cross country moves! They are dishonest upfront about it. They were hired to complete our move only because they had great (local) reviews and they told us in person they would NOT subcontract to a third party moving company. Not true! Please look them up on the BBB. They are not accredited by the BBB. They have a history of horrible experiences for customers who hire them for services outside of WI. Kurt Hintz seems to be responsive when he gets praise, however lacks picking up the phone when there is an issue. We were required to pay our remaining balance PRIOR to our belongings being delivered. They would not give us updates, eta or any additional information until our balance was paid in full, even though the agreement was 50% upfront and remaining balance upon delivery. After paying bill in full- our delivery arrived full of damaged bins, furniture, and framed art. It was days late as well. They DO NOT INSURE YOUR ITEMS, even though they upsell you on additional protection. Be wary or be ready for a nightmare. I believe the services in WI may be positive for local moves or storage, but Kurt Hintz needs to get out the the services of out of state or cross country moves. Poor management, poor customer service and lack of response when an issue arises. Use caution if considering hiring this company. Fancy trucks don't equal quality handling of your precious belongings.
