We love Dunn Lumber. They are centrally located and the staff are so helpful. Just met with Dana in the cabinet design area for a kitchen cabinets quote. It was great how she considered our wants and needs while keeping the budget in mind. Can't wait to see what she comes up with!

First visit: We brought in a $65 power inverter from Ace Hardware with a red cable cover that had become detached. We took it to the "repair" guy at the back of the store. He took it in the back for a few minutes, then came back out *laughing* and said when he went to put the red cable cover back on, the black one on the other cord came off, so supposedly, he now had to shorten that one, too. $6.45 for the repair. Granted, I'm glad it wasn't more than that, but it was still more than repair was worth. Second visit: The black cable cover had become detached again. We took it to the back (repair) counter again, and the guy who waited on us *this* time ended up taking the cover completely off and slapping on some black electrical tape in its place. Do NOT come here for any electric equipment repairs!

We rented a cotton candy machine for the symphony’s gala, we had a ball making the cotton candy and eating it. The Adults haven’t had it in a long time and remembered it and was still really good . My equipment was ready and on a cart when we came to pick it up. Ken did an amazing job. Thanks Eileen

Dunn Lumber provides excellent service in the retail and builder areas. They have helped me pick paint colors for the office and supplied all materials for our home build.

Customer service non-existent. I don't like big box stores but unfortunately am stuck with them. I am continually losing money by shopping here. I thought the home town hardware store was the the way to go but unfortunately not the case here. Sad to say.

Rental equipment did not work and no compensation was afforded. Staff did not explain operation and could not care less that the product did not work. Spent an hour and half waiting for the machine and getting it started Cost $ 100.00 for only 1 hour of a four hour rental. I was told I should have rented a more powerful machine due to fact the machine got stuck in the clay. He could have offered me the correct machine with a discount of the cost of the wrong machine. I heard that ownership has changed and I was a repeat customer but will not repeat the mistake. My family members also wanted to help our a local business but will now go to Home Depot. I plan on talking to Ken in rentals but very disillusioned after all these years. I was always happy with the staff but none of them appear to be around.
