They do the bare minimum of actual news coverage while blatantly ignoring news important to the community. Shabbily they paywall what should be free and accessible news to one of poorest counties in the state and to folks who have moved away and just want to check in occasionally to Rusk Co happenings. I won't be surprised when they paywall the obits. Someone should start an online independent news and do a better job covering the news if Rusk Co.
