I’m constantly receiving wrong mail even after I write “does not live here” on them. There’s a reason I filled out an address change, and the vacant slip when I moved into this place. Every single package I’ve ordered that comes through the post office is NEVER, delivered to my house because of some excuse saying there was “no access” to my mailbox. I live on an open street, no snow and no ice (it’s 46° outside) and no one parks in front of my mailbox considering we all have driveways and garages around here. When you call the number they have listed on google it’s always an hour plus wait to talk to somebody. The mail system here is extremely inconvenient.

The mail delivery seems to be fine, a few minor things here and there, but overall it seems decent. I has recently run into an issue, however, where I had been tracking a package and it shows that it had arrived at the, La Crosse Post Office. After waiting, I decided to call when it had been there for 2-days, wondering why it hasn't been delivered? When I called, it's answered by this extremely slow automated bot, first telling me about ordering Covid tests and then slowing listing some options. I just need to speak to someone, explain that a package had arrived there and inquire as to why it hasn't been delivered yet? Instead of that, it keeps going on with stupid options that don't fit or wanting some tracking numbers; I know where it is, but now I need to know why it isn't here. It won't connect me to an agent and then; it tells me it needs to hang up, in order to help others. For one, it's an automated bot and secondly; there is nothing about that system that I would ever consider, "help". I am just so sick of dealing with those automated services all the time and I would be willing to bet that, over half the people that are calling a place; they eventually need to actually speak to someone for any resolve. It's just ridiculous that it takes going through all these roundabout ways, just to try to gets a question answered! You know what I find strange is that, when looking at these, "Google reviews", there are 2 places that get quite a few reviews and many of which are bad reviews; those 2 places are the USPS and UPS located in, La Crosse. It's seems delivering packages is a difficult task around here.

Left a note that I forgot to put something in a communal apt mail box asking to either call or put it in office mail box. And nothing.

Called twice (first one got no response after 4 minutes of hold) to ask a question regarding parcel pickup. Lady who answered the phone was angry before she answered the phone, maybe because I called twice? I’m not sure. She got loud and hostile when asked about the possibility of parcel pickup. I told her to have a better day.

4 stars for how minimally they investigate stolen mail. Other than that the employees in the office always do their job in a professional and polite way. They are very helpful over the phone or in the office question wise and they try to do what you ask. Every package I've shipped with them left and delivered fast. My experience when I had mail stolen or never even show up however, they would tell me it delivered and that's it. No real investigation.

This place is a mis mananged dumpster fire and a black hole for packages. Knowone there cares because it's a government run business and they still get paid regardless. USPS would have been out of business a long time ago if it did not have the endless money tree of the government.

I got a message saying that I missed the delivery of my package and now have to schedule redelivery with additional fees. I have been home all day and no one has attempted to deliver a package. My house is quite small and my living room couch is in front of a big window next to the front door. I would have noticed if anyone tried to delivery anything.

I’ve lived in La Crosse for over a decade and have nothing but great things to say about the post office. Workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Usually no line for the retail window (but of course that always changes on the holidays). Outside the post office, mail and packages tends to arrive a day early than predicted—so speedy!

If I could go lower than one star, I would. After moving into my new apartment, I went TO THE POST OFFICE and did a change of address. I was living here for about a month and a half, and came home from working a twelve hour shift, to find a "vacant" marker on my mailbox. The fact that my apartment was vacant was news to me. Later on, I had a certified letter that was to be delivered from my bank, and I was out running errands when they had "attempted to deliver", so they left a note in my mailbox with my options to get the letter. Either make a special trip to the post office on one of the few business days I have off, or I could have it redelivered. I chose redelivery. I filled out their form, and put it in my mailbox. It sat there ignored for THREE DAYS before I had to fold it over the top of the mailbox, and close the lid on it. Finally, since I held their hand through the process, they picked up the form. Now, I have an outgoing letter for allergen and intolerance testing for my dog, and I rested it on the top, closed the lid so it would be exposed, and obvious that the letter was outgoing, and wasn't thinking much of it. Low and behold, they left the letter and didn't take it. Even with holding their hand on it again. Tell me why a mail carrier isn't checking for outgoing mail. That is quite literally, half of the job. Take mail that's going out, and leave mail that's coming in.

Had a package "misdelivered" and after calling them for 4 days straight, they finally sent someone to look for it but could not find it. I am now out $50 + shipping costs because they refused to try to fix their mistake in a timely manner and I didn't shell out extra for shipping insurance. I was under the impression (based on every other good and service out there) that I didn't need insurance to ensure I get a service that I had already paid for.

Two days in a row, my Amazon package gets listed as unable to be delivered due to obstructed front door or mail box, yet the last two times I've got mail deliver that day in my apartment building's hallway. Also, my door is the first door on the right, little more than a few yards from the mailbox and I've heard no knock or anything to even show an attempt to deliver. This is getting old, as I only get these issues with USPS - UPS has no problem accessing the building or leaving packages in my mailbox, above it, or even at my door. As I said, I got mail the last two days yet both days they were unable to deliver - I would like an explanation as to exactly why that is because nothing is adding up.
