I recently had to get my car's glass repaired and chose Safelite for the job. From start to finish, I was impressed with the level of service I received. The team was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. They made the process smooth and hassle-free, fixing my glass swiftly without compromising on quality. I appreciated their efficiency and the care they took with my vehicle. I would highly recommend Safelite to anyone in need of glass repair—excellent service all around!

Paid them to "repair" a small chip in my windshield. I ended up with a 2" spiderweb crack and they won't take responsibility for it. They blamed the heat, they then blamed the windshield. They offered to replace the windshield at my cost... how nice of them!
If you're expecting a decent repair and not have it come out worse, go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience with my restored collector car. I recently finished a near full restoration of my 90's Nissan 240sx. Safelite installer Guy came out to install new glass, but stopped when there was an issue with the aftermarket window trim (not their fault, my fault during the paint/body work). Guy could have pushed forward and installed the window and trim as-is, but it would not have been correct.
Guy stopped the install, notified me of the issue, and we discussed solutions. I took a couple weeks to find a solution (again, my fault, not Safelite's) and Guy came back out to finish the install. Guy's attention to detail continued through the install process, it is clear he knows what he is doing and wants every job to be done to a very high quality.
The result is a FAR nicer install, much higher quality end product, and an upgrade to my restoration BECAUSE of Guy.
If you have a collector/vintage/enthusiast car and you want someone with as much attention to detail as you, I would specifically ask for Guy.

Would have given a 5 star review, but their automated phone system is a joke. I have never in my entire life found a company trying so hard to keep people from speaking to an actual human. The phone tree redirects you to the website and hangs up on you. I’m not sure if this is an issue everywhere or just locally, but the Google Maps page does not list the local shop phone number anywhere (only the corporate number). Also noting that Safelite’s website does not list local shop numbers either. You have to get a quote and book online. It took me a whole investigation to find a customer service number with a real human. Even then, that person claimed to book me an appointment and never did. When we showed up later at our appointment time, we had to schedule for the next day.
My review would be one or two stars if it weren’t for the saving grace of the local shop employees actually being really professional and accommodating people. They made it super easy when we stopped in and helped us schedule for the next day.
Another note was pricing. Typically, I like to use local, but Safelite did beat out all of the local competition on pricing, so I will give them props for that.
For anyone reading this review, if you can, I’d recommend walking in to get a quote. I work in the tech industry even I will tell you that Safelite’s website makes you jump through a lot of hoops just to get you a quote and was overly aggressive about trying to book you for an appointment. I’d hate for anyone to go through as much as I had to just for a simple windshield repair.
Shout out to the local shop for making it far easier than the corporate side ever did.

The installer broke our wiper assembly on our classic Camaro..... He said oops and we should be able to get another from a junkyard, bye. Then had nerve to say, leave me a good review. We complained, no results. After talking to different agents at Safelite, they promised to cut a check. Never happened. This happened last spring and still irks me when I see their ads. Lacrosse Wi.
