We probably use Jacobson's Moving & Storage about three times each year, and had I been giving them ratings for all moves, it would CONSISTENTLY be FIVE STARS. From the very first phone call to get the ball rolling, we are greeted with enthusiasm, positivity and great customer service. Then, once the ball is in play, we couldn't be happier with the quality of service that we receive from the actual movers; the guys are beyond professional, take great care with moving our "stuff" and have the best attitude ... whether it's 95 degrees and humid, or below zero temperatures, we have the same, consistent and courteous crew that takes pride in their work, and developing our relationship. We wouldn't think of trusting our posessions and moves with anyone else but Jacobson's. Thank you!

Finally decided to post a review of this horrible company after moving in June of 2022.The movers themselves were excellent and worked super hard to keep the time down.However, they unintentionally damaged our dining room table and the corner of the wall leading down to the basement.We asked for reimbursement over and over for months and the owner (Patty Jacobsen) blew us off repeatedly with excuses that she couldnt find anyone to fix the wall or repair the table.We asked for straight up reimbursement instead with no reply.We haven't heard a word from them in months.While we give the crew kudos for thier hard work, the owner of this company is dishonest, irresponsible and conniving.Stay away!

Jacobson helped me get my things from a farm house to a twin home in town. I contacted them because I had a baby grand piano to move. It was the hottest day in May but the crew treated it as just another job and did it well. Also, they accurately informed me they did not have the right resources to move the piano, on the original date m, but did it a month later. Of course, it was raining when we moved the piano but the move was very professional and successful. Thank you Jacobson. They are who you need if you are moving.

We've used Jacobson's 2-3 different times when we've moved and they've always done a great job with very hard-working and polite employees. Patty at the office is very friendly and very helpful.

I was very disappointed with Jacobson's. The two-day estimated move became 3 days even with two afternoons of guys helping pack. In the afternoon of the 2nd and supposedly last moving day young Tyler made an executive decision that we should finish the move the following day. It was inconvenient for me but I went along with it. Then Tyler never showed up that next day because he wanted to go to a birthday party! Josh was sent on his own and he was amazing but it was not a one-man moving day by any means. Plus the truck broke down and he was delayed for 4 hours while I waited at home to complete the move. The move didn't end until late that evening. The next day I discovered two large chips out of my master bedroom dresser, I smashed lamp that was part of a pair for my living room. I'm missing lampshade from a special lamp, and a crack in a table. After numerous calls to Patty she never responded or gave me any apology or anything! Josh actually came over on his own with a replacement lamp shade and some glue to try to repair my dresser. He was amazing! But I would not recommend the use the company at all.

Very happy with my moving experience through Jacobson's Moving and Storage. Kevin and Tyler were sent out to our home which we were initially a little worried about as we had booked three movers. Both of these guys took time where they needed to to ensure our possessions were taken care of. This was no cakewalk of a move either. The entire job took 10 hours and at the end, Kevin even stuck around to help me set up my ping pong table in the garage with out charging me for his time. Could not be more impressed with someone's work ethic and customer service. Thanks Kevin!

We had Jacobson's pack and move us over a two-day period. They were very professional and the estimate turned out almost exact. There weren't as many movers as I expected which made it take a little longer than I'd hoped, but the owner's husband actually came out to help which I thought was a nice gesture. Would use again.

The workers were an hour an half late, they did not know how to drive the moving truck, one of the guys left after half an hour with no explanation, they only filled the truck half way and wanted to finish everything the following Monday. Communication was horrible, this company made the entire moving experience more stressful than usual.

The one thing I don't like about the company are the operation hours to get access to my storage items. I'm usually out of town during the week for work. Otherwise...GREAT COMPANY! The movers are personable, professional and able to get the job done. They even pick up your stuff and place it in their storage for you...and get it done so quickly. I made all the arrangements over the phone. The woman I spoke to over the phone was a GEM! I would definitely recommend their service to others.

I called Jacobson’s off of a recommendation to help with my move.. Monica was out of this world, amazing!! I can’t even begin to tell you how polite, willing and knowledgeable she is!! Arrived at 3120 on Friday 8/6 by 2:45 but noone was there. Called the number and was told someone would get back to me, noone did. It would have been nice to know that everyone had gone for the weekend .

Was looking for Jacobson's after hearing about their services. I was very confused because whoever answered was very rude and unhelpful. Realized the guys from FB are similarly named but in Winona. Save yourself the hassle, and go there. To my knowledge there is 0 connection between these two companies, just named very similar and very similar in location.

they pad their hourly rate by wrapping items that are not breakable. some examples of what they wrapped for me were plastic glasses, plastic bowls, a flashlight, a hammer and a shoe horn. their padded bill for moving my 1 bedroom condo a distance of 2 miles was $2,405. at the same time i had a florida company move my 2 bedroom condo a distance of 25 miles for $1,344. find another mover.
