My review is mainly about the deli area. The store was out of a type of prosciutto that I wanted. I was hesitant to ask if they had more in the back but after a moment I decided to ask. Perhaps it was the manager who noticed and asked what I needed. When I mentioned they seemed to be out of the product, he quickly said they could slice some fresh! Instead of ignoring me, this young gentleman went out of his way to help. The person slicing the meat was (and has been) always so kind and helpful. The store itself is lovely. Once you learn the lay out you can enjoy a beverage from the many food/drink options while shopping. It's a very easy store to get use too! Lighting is great and the aisles are large enough to maneuver. Also often they have excellent deals on roses!

Excellent customer service. Wide variety of food and drinks. The Deli had a great variety of food to go, and the back area with the Alcohol had the widest selection I have seen in a grocery store. Outside at the gas station... following their customer service, there was a sign for pregnant women and handicapped. Ring the bell,and someone will be out to assist with filling the tank. Outstanding!

So twice now we have stopped to grab the breakfast bowls from the fast and fresh and they have been cold. Well this time I didn’t check and I should have. We went in at 9:04 and my bowl says it should have been pulled at 8.00 am…. They need to be on the warmer for less time

For the second time, I make the long trip to Hy-Vee in response to a meat item on sale. For the second time I find the shelf empty (third day of the weekly ad). The worker there simply says "sorry, we are out". Keep your ads, I'm not ever coming back.

Great store, condescending staff. Decided to use self checkout due to long lines. Was buying alcohol so I knew we had to wait for a supervisor but didn't expect to wait so long. Over 5 minutes standing there. More customers showed up in self checkout, also purchasing alcohol. Tried to be understanding but the front end supervisor literally helps everyone that came after us before coming to check us out. He finished our interaction by saying, "Next time you don't want to wait that long, check out back in Wine & Spirits" as he walked away. Thanks, Kaleb, but no one was back there either to helps us. Hy-Vee needs to train their supervisors to have better customer service. Front end supervisor Kaleb definitely doesn't belong there!

Unfortunately I have had several poor experiences with this store. I have ordered specialty bakery items that seemed stale and terribly decorated. I ordered a gallon of fruit from the deli. It was $80.00 and had rotten raspberries that had completely decomposed, rotten strawberries and watermelon BUT the other melons weren’t ready to eat and rock hard. Such a disappointment, sticking to Festival for those special occasions.

After picking up a few items, we went thru the liquor department to grab a bottle and check out, but the lazy cashier said we had too many things and we would have to go to the front of the store to check out. Nice attitude buddy. 6/10/2023 @ 2:15 pm

Always finding new things to try! We got some of the lunch meat from their deli, so delicious and they have some unique flavors. They also have some deserts by their pasta salads, my girls got the cookies n cream (it's almost like a whipped pudding) was really good as well!

The return policy on outdoor plants is ridiculous. They only take them back if they're dieing? ? Ok, let me just leave them out in the sun for a couple weeks and water them with vinegar. I'll be able to return them then, right? Silliness.

The perishables and displays are incredible. Second to none. Deli, bakery, meat counters, seafood, eateries... all top notch. Can not say enough how impressed I am by those areas specifically. The rest of the market have the same, five star, level I've come to expect from Hy-vee. Everything is what I love about Hy-vee... but the areas I've mentioned are above and beyond the exemplary levels Hy-vee is known for. The persons in charge should be acknowledged. Their work is on another level.The displays are thoughtful, eye-catching, and fittingly adorable. They are cute but not immature... adorable but not pandering... perfectly fitting to their intent. From the floral displays to the produce displays and all of the displays throughout the perishable areas.Finally, the promotions this market is putting out are thoughtful and beneficial to the community. The Easter brunch with the bunnies... the different community out reach events... the lunch/dinner specials you've had to expose the community to the different things you do... were special, memorable, and well done. Thank you for all of them and the future promotions you have planned.
