Hillside is a wonderful place to work with. We had literally just moved to the area and our pet got into some cleaning products. We didnt know any vets in the area but needed an emergency appt late one night. Not only were they able to accommodate us, they worked within our budget, and provided the best possible care for our pet. Our pet truly wouldnt have made it without the help of their staff and I highly recommend them.

I brought my cat here for the first time a few weeks ago when he was having a medical emergency. We ultimately had to make the choice to put him down, which was very unexpected.
I was a mess but the staff was so kind during the whole experience, even afterward when I went to pick up his ashes. The Doctor never made me feel rushed while making my decision or while saying goodbye to my cat, even though we were there past close.
When I went to pick up his ashes, I also received a nose print, multiple copies of paw prints, and a really nice poem (personalized because they put his name on the bottom). I also just received a sympathy card in the mail from Hillside!
If I wasn’t moving this would definitely become my primary vet to use. I’m adding a picture of the happy and healthy version of Cas that the staff did not get to see during my visit. Thanks Hillside for everything you’ve done to help me during this hard time ?

Whe. My cat died i got a hand signed card from everyone there and my dog continues to get excellent care there. They are there for your pets 100%. Everyone shows up every day for the love of animals. A wonderful veterinary hospital.

I would 100% recommend Hillside to anybody that is looking for a veterinary clinic for their pet! Dr. Konrad and the rest of the team did such a wonderful job for us over the years with one of our cats that required A LOT of extra attention.
Amongst the chaos that comes with operating a clinic, they always made us feel like we were a priority and that we mattered to them. Over the years, I have felt that finding an empathetic team in the veterinary world can sometimes be a struggle. The Hillside team was always so empathetic with us throughout the challenging phases our cat faced throughout his life.
Although we now live in a different city and have had to seek other clinics for convenience sake, for this particular pet, we continued to travel to La Crosse just to keep him with the Hillside team and they were always so accommodating. I can't say enough great things about Hillside Animal Hospital. Thank you all for everything you did for Simba over the years! ❤️

I had to put my family cat of 18 years down today and it was extremely difficult. I am super grateful for the staff at Hillside for being patient and kind and making this hard experience easier for me. Shelby was extremely helpful at reception, Maria was very kind in the exam room, and Dr. Conrad was amazing as well explaining exactly what he was doing. Thank you Hillside for the pawprints and nose prints of my kitty and for making this hard day a little easier.

Excellent vets, assistants, and staff. Everyone I've had help me there has been amazing with my dogs. I've even got my BFF taking her babies there now, too.

Thank you for saving my dog Boomer today ,I can sleep now knowing he will be all right ,this dog keeps me off my depression meds ,he means a lot to are home and my girlfriend is on disability Thank you so much,you help the disability out on this,I was scared when he was bleeding on his stools and he's only 3 are loving ugly dog Boomer Thanks you too .

I'm new to this vet after transferring from another local vet. Hillside has friendly staff and they seem to care about your animals with how they talk, follow up etc. The prices seem very similar to most local vets around the area, I wish it was slightly cheaper but that's true with everything these days. Boarding is cheaper than some other options and was a nice benefit to use being a patient here. I would recommend this vet, I've heard many good things over the years and so far my experiences have been pleasant.

I love the hospitality and family environment at Hillside. I’ve been to some clinics where they know the applications of medicine for your pet but not behaviorally; where they better understand your pets breed and their emotional needs. My dog can be nervous of new people and aloof but it is typical for his breed, and he is better when handled by myself or taken away from me in a separate room. The vets and vet techs at Hillside recognize this and listen most importantly, and they know a lot about breed behavior aside from what to medically provide your pet. I’m so happy to walk out with my dog looking around happily instead of scared! Dr. Hewitt and the rest of the team treat him so well.

They're good for vet care a little pricey and grooming is only available through vet appt. First. So a simple ear cleaning may be like 50 bucks. Sams pamper camper is only 15 bucks.

Quick and convenient. Cured my cats ear infection. Could of told me more about how to care for her ears more.but overall they were good.
