What a lovely yarn shop almost like stepping back in time. I felt welcomed from the minute I arrived and Mimi invited me to join their knitting group which I gladly did and spent a lovely house or so knitting and chatting.

What a lovely shop! I stopped by the other day for the first time. I noticed the beautiful selection of yarn, but was only in need of a yarn needle. There was a table full of friendly knitters, who directed me to the owner who is a total gem! She was out of yarn needles, so the dear gave me one from her own supply. It was very touching. Thank you!!

Beautiful little knitting shop! Wonderful customer service and quality yarns. The patrons seem lovely, welcoming and friendly as well. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I needed this time, but I will certainly be back! Easiest parking is if you turn right just before the shop, there's a little parking lot behind the building (on the left if you've turned right.) Bring your mask, as they are required inside. But if you've forgotten yours, they are wonderfully kind enough to provide you with one. I love that beautiful wonderful places like this one have survived the pandemic!

I agree with the knitter who got the stink eye. Same thing happened to me. I had just moved to the area and was looking for a new place to make my knitting hangout. I never heard of a store POSTING that you could only sit and knit with their yarn. How do they think impulse buys happen? I am moving back soon and won't even cross their threshold.

I believe this is one of the finest knitting stores around. I have been getting supplies from them since the current owner's mother owned the store. If you need a pattern from 1972 you can find it here and the yarn is always top quality. I don't think it is rude to post the "ground rules". I believe it is rude not to know the ground rules particularity at this type of establishment. I hope this store is around as long as I knit.
