We have been going to the Kiel vet for 30 years and when Dr Schutte was there we had wonderful service. Since his retirement we have called to get an appointment for a sick dog numerous times and have been told nothing for weeks. We are now looking for a euthanasion and were told it would be 7 days before we could get him in. A sick animal cannot wait 7 days. Where is the compassion when you cannot fit a sick animal in when they are suffering ?. We will find a different vet.

They wouldn’t help our dying dog because the lady at the front desk said that the doctors were on their last appointments of the day. It was 4:30 when we got there and they closed at 5:00. Terrible

We’ve been using this clinic since about 2018, when we moved to the area. We have two cats and we feel they’ve received excellent care and attention from the veterinarians and staff at this clinic. Over the course of the last few years they’ve helped with concerns and questions and shown kindness in times of distress. They were incredibly kind and empathetic when we had to put our previous pets down. I have no negative remarks.

After going to Kiel for almost 10 years for our dog I would NOT recommend to anyone. Our dog was very sick, wouldnt eat, barely could walk, etc. Called right away in the morning when they opened. I explained his symptoms and that he was a patient. I was told they couldn't get him in and to take him to an emergency vet. After spending thousand of dollars with Kiel over the years and being loyal clients... you're going to tell me you can't get my super sick dog in? When I need you most? I was devastated! Luckily I found another vet that didn't hesitate to take him in. He ended up having cancer and was bleeding internally. We lost our sweet dog and Kiel couldn't even be there for us during this most shocking and difficult time! Needless to say we will NOT be returning when we get a puppy and do NOT recommend this vet to anyone!

We've been taking our many pets here for years and continue to do so. Dr Schuette was always so great with our pets and we were sad to see him go but Dr Schneider has also been a blessing. We have just one dog still with us and she is a bit of a handful but Dr Schneider is so good at her approach with her. We very much appreciate her gentleness and patience with our anxious old girl!

I have been taking my dog to Keil Vet for 9 years now. I have always had great service and they have helped with emergency situations quickly and professionally. I recommend anyone looking for a Vet for their pet to highly consider Kiel Veterinary Clinic. They have taken care of me and my lab and I know they will take care of you.

Dr Baemert is knowledgeable, professional and the best equine vet we have had the pleasure of working through some tough scenarios with our aging equines. My horse had lived to be 33 years old under his great care. Words are not enough to express our deep appreciation for Dr. Beamert. The sticky stuff is an added treat !

Having my cats seen by Dr. Schneider always makes me feel they are getting the best care. She takes the time to answer all my questions and she explains all medications prescribed.

I am so disheartened to write this review after having all of my fur babies for the last 20 years at this clinic.I have a 5 year old dog that randomly lost a full tooth (not broken off due to an accident or trauma), but just fell out. All his upper teeth are loose and already shifting. All prelim research tells you to reach out to your vet immediately as this is not acceptable in a dog, at any age.I am now 2 weeks into this and cannot get a response back from a vet on how to proceed after MULTIPLE calls back. Every time I call, the sweet receptionist tells me they will call us back-but it never happens. They couldn’t get him in for an appointment so I emailed in pictures yesterday, yet his Dr wasn’t able to look at them yesterday and is out today. And now it’s a weekend, again. Is there not a Dr that covers when one is off?Do you all have more animals than you can handle at this time?Is there no on-call component to this clinic anymore- as has been for the last number of decades? You post on your website about “preventive care” yet you are booking dentals out 5 months and can’t accommodate anything urgent, at all.I am feeling like the care that is being provided is sub par, if not bordering on unacceptable. I fear it’s time to move my animals to somewhere that will treat them like we do, like a part of our family.

We are so comfortable with and grateful for Dr. Schneider and so is Jaxy (well as comfortable as he’s ever going to be at the vet). We are confident in her knowledge and approach. She is so kind and nice. That’s high praise as we were #TeamDrSchuette for many many years :)
