The WORST customer service I’ve ever dealt with out of any bank. Called for a simple question and couldn’t get an answer from the supervisor Shelly herself. Completely disrespectful when all they boast about is service. Absolutely not closing everything and going somewhere else.

I will never go back to the 80th St. branch again I will be closing our accounts.And efforts to try and make a long story short I went into 80th St. to change my name yesterday and the lady that was helping me was the same lady I had asked a year earlier what I needed to change my name and she stated just the marriage license and a photo ID with either my former name or my new married name.So I went in with my marriage license and an ID with my former name because I have not received my license with my new last name yet.I explain to her I had asked earlier and they told me that this is all I needed. She proceeded to be rude and made fun of me. And I had said numerous times that’s fine. I will just come back. But she continued then I stormed out and told her how I felt how she was treating me. So I went to the 60th St. branch they were more than willing to help me they couldn’t understand what the issue was at the 80th St. one because they do things like this all the time I proceeded to order a new debit card with my new name on it but the teller at 80th St. blocked it because I didn’t have the photo ID on file and did not have enough nerve to call me herself to tell me she made 60th St. call meTerrible customer service. This is not the first incident I’ve had with this branch on 80th St. they have screwed up my paychecks before and blamed me and my company when it was their fault.

She did a great job, you so much deserve an accolades on this Mrs Kelly Robert. I can't explain myself right now what I received on my wallet was so great and surprising, an amazing huge amount was sent to me by trading with an expert like Kelly Robert. I can’t say enough or give enough praise about Shelly Floreani or Cathy Massoglia at Southern Lakes. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND in customer service and I would trust them with all my loans. From car loans, signature loans, and mortgage loans- they have been there every step recommending options and doing research on the best path for achieving my needs/goals. I was completely burned by another loan officer at a traditional bank and I would never go that direction again. Now that I have found a banking home with Southern Lakes- I’ll never go anywhere else.

They app never up to date with my spending & I always end up overdraft in my account & when i call they can never explain just tell me to pay attention to the app more im done with this bank they an scam need an better mobile app tech

The tellers are very friendly ,but I had a major issue with a paycheck and it was their fault and they were very rude to me about it and the only way I got someone to call me back is to continually call. So make sure you keep good track of your account if you have an account here. They did reverse the fees that were caused because of it but they made me feel like it was my fault.

This bank has been absolutely horrible to work with. The calls I have had to make throughout the last few months to finish paying off a vehicle loan and receiving the title has been ridiculous. I would never recommend this bank to anyone, absolutely horrible and archaic to work with.

I had all of my personal private business basically foghorned to everyone within that bank. I was ridiculed and demeaned by the teller (in front of the other tellers as well as customers) that was conducting the investigation in regards to my account. They are supposed to protect my money, notify me of the unauthorized AUTOMATIC withdrawals coming out of my account. Not make assumptions against my family and forcing me to run back and forth between a bank that doesn't contain my full account information and telling me "we're not paying this".

This is the worst bank/credit union...save yourself the time and headache. I've had an account there for over 20 years and they won't even allow me to cash a check for my minor child. RIDICULOUS

They have no fraud protection!!!! My husbands visa debit account had $166. Somebody stole his info and made 4 fraudulent purchases in another state and Southern Lakes honored those purchases. His account is now negative $800. The terrible customer service they have made him file a police report. And since he did that and returned the report to Southern Lakes they refuse to answer his questions about what is next. Multiple calls and no call backs. I have never seen such terrible customer service with any other financial institutions. Don’t lose your money! Don’t open an account at southern lakes. Go to Educators credit union instead!
