Nifty thrifty is absolutely amazing! The staff are very nice and they sometimes give deals on my purchases. The prices are very reasonable. Like for tiny items having a 25c-5.00 price range. The employees and/or the manager are changing the store quite a bit in the back which causes me to forget where some certain things are but it doesn't cause a huge issue. I've never tried donating before but I assume it should be pretty easy. Don't mark my word. I love that they give free teddy bears and books for children by the check out. Everything is pretty organized and they have certain places for certain things. The cute furniture for displaying items is also set up really adorable.Amazing!

Went to donate a bunch of bedding materials and there is 10 plus signs all over with all the rules, I looked around and didnt see anyone to help so I put a bunch of loose bedding in their donation bins and a guy came from around the corner freaking out about me not using boxes and bags to donate everything in. There was a sign that said that but there was 10 signs to read so I read the big one right behind the bins and it didn't say anything about that. The guy was very confrontational while I kept trying to deescalate the situation.

If a item isn't price why is it on the sales floor? One of the sales mgr could have handled situation better then she did then just saying store policy to a child whom wanted her mom to buy something that was hard to find and all. It ain't the customer fault for the items that we couldn't buy to be denied of the product as what does a store mgr job description have in their job duties? Doesn't satisfy a customer matter and keeping them happy then making a child cry because they get denied like adult. They have those on work release in the justice system helping them out by observations then proper communication should be told to them before placing on floor. There was better ways then being rude or unprofessional in the situation then saying store policy as observed body language and all as like one didn't care at all. I refer many to donate to your store that your remodeling which does cost y'all money and if you lose customers then it's like losing money. I have seen many try to please a customer better then what was given on this day and was willing to pay for items like rest on reciept. I know the other store mgr would have done better then other as no name tags to state individual that gave poor customer service. Other stores have similar policies but they still price it to sell it to customer instead of denying the customer and waiting on their terms before it's priced and placed back on sales floor to be purchased. They ask for donations for the shelter but why do they have to upset a child or customer? I said to my child be mad at the right person not me as item she wanted we looked high low to find it.

Great place to find things you need at a reasonable price. Staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Plus this store supports a local battered women's shelter/program so your money goes to helping women and families in need.

Nifty Thrifty is a great place to not only donate your unused and unwanted items, but a great place to shop too! It’s set up so cute and you can tell that the workers take pride in what they do there. The prices are great and every dollar spent goes straight to Womens & Children’s Horizons for not only our community but surrounding communities as well, so do yourself a favor and go check out all the treasures they have inside! You will not be disappointed!

I like donating to Nifty Thrifty knowing that proceeds benefit Women’s and Children’s. I also enjoy going into the store, it doesn’t feel like a thrift store, it is a cute shop.
