Absolutely loved it here! Extremely clean and I loved going to the little shop they have. I was on a really really tight budget and could not find anything for under two dollars, but I did find a tiny lucky giraffe which I got! Till this day it has brought me good luck! But anyways, the exhibits here are fascinating. I read through each description and was really surprised about some of the fossil's backstory! The art museum inside of it and the fossils were my favorites. My artwork was actually framed here for about a month or so back in 2023. Overall it is a really great place to visit, no matter what age you are. Check it out! You are guaranteed to learn and have fun here.

Such a precious place for both adults and kids. Spent 4 hours easily. So realistic exhibits and feel like you walk into the village and life of Native Indians. 2nd floor has unique curiosity collections and realistic animal exhibits. There was also art exhibits going on on the 2nd floor when we visited. 2nd floor also has some miniature carved art works. Little gift shop has interesting global collections. Loved the curiosity play area/classroom set up. Materials are arranged in cabinets that can be used to make stories or plays. Haven’t seen such set up anywhere else before. Fully enjoyed the visit.

Kenosha is just full of wonderful, hidden, and free gems for the entire family to enjoy.Easily a 2-3 hour experience if you go through all of the exhibits and read through the history. But definitely a stop you should add to your list if you're looking for a free adventure. I highly enjoyed my time here and I thank all of the individuals that help keep this experience free for admission. This is what makes Kenosha special.

Good museum. Decent selection of exhibits to view and learn more about. Obviously not a huge museum but still worth the visit if you're in town.

Incredible for young children and they only ask you donate what you can afford. We need more museums like this for children and families who can't afford to pay hundreds to bring multiple kids to a new experience where they can learn about art and history!

The new taxidermy exhibit is amazing- a great way to give anyone a perspective on the true size and details of so many animals we rarely, if ever, see in person. The lower half of the museum is definitely in need of an update on the other hand. There's no room to complain really, as it's a free experience to spend an hour or two, there is simply some information that needs updating when funds allow for it.

I give the museum a 5/5 in terms of what they have to offer and how well done everything is considering it's free. My son loved exploring and seeing the animals. The reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is because I'm disappointed that their play area was closed 15-20min before the museum actually closes so that an employee could begin disinfecting things. As a parent of a 2year old, who did fabulous walking the museum with the promise of play at the end, I'm severely upset we entered the area and we're immediately asked to leave. I'm sorry it was 15-20min before your close, but perhaps you should wait to disinfect areas until your actual museum closes.
