“We had such a great experience with the Dodge County Humane Society. We have a 1 year old Doberman male in our home but wanted to find another female to keep him company, and had come across miss Nola on their facebook page. We met her in person and she was a total sweetheart. DCHS went over all of the information they had on Nola from her previous owners and their experiences with her, and then we set up a meeting with our dog to see if they would be a good fit. Our first meeting with the dogs was a little rocky, so we took a day to think. We went back a few days later to take Nola and our current dog for a walk (thanks to the DCHS staff for being SO flexible with us, and so supportive in finding Nola a great home). Our second meeting went TREMENDOUS. We’ve now had Nola for a few weeks and couldn’t imagine a life without her. She and her brother are two peas in a pod. The DCHS staff was so great at scheduling, flexibility, communication, and ensuring we would be a good fit for Nola. We are so grateful! Hope to give her the best life she could possibly live.”

“Nice variety of local and bigger named pet food. The animals they sell there seem to be very well kept and taken care of. Staff in general seems to be very knowledgeable of all the animals they have and willing to help with any questions or concerns promptly.”
