I bought my little girls here (3 year old and 1.5 year old) They were so excited to see all the kitties and puppies. The staff was so amazing to us: they showed the animals to my girls and even offered to go to a big hall room where my kids simply played with tennis balls that the staff gave us and ran around until they got tired. Very nice and nurturing place.

Make sure to fill out the application online first. Otherwise, piece of cake no hassle. I was told if my kitty didn't work out I can take it back and get another. But why would I do that? My kitty is awesome

Was very happy with our adoption process. They brought the dog to us with lots of treats, allowed our current dog to interact with the prospective new dog and they filled us in on back story and health of new dog. They also supplied us with enough stuff to get us through the weekend so we were not rushed to get food etc for the new dog. I would for sure adopt a dog from this location again in the future. They really seemed to care about the animals and want them to find good forever homes.

I have been here many times and I am saddened that today there were new people at the front desk and treated my family very poorly and it seems to be because of the color of my skin. I hate to say that and wish it weren’t true but it was very blatant! The people next to us got treated so differently, all smiles and laughter and even invited to come behind the front desk, but we got eye rolls and hesitation and very rude language. My children are very sad about this and I will be contacting the management to report this.

I had an amazing experience here today! I traveled 53 mins to come here to look at kitties. It's so nice and clean and they have so many beautiful kittens and they are in smaller rooms that you can go in and sit down with the kitties on the floor and get to know each one on a more personal level! I will definitely be back in a few weeks to get a kitty for my lonely girl cat I already have at home! ❤️

Adopted a fabulous cat, Willow. Quick, easy and super friendly staff. We have adopted from HSJC in the 80’s and 90’s as well as they helped with some stray kittens. Great organization to adopt from or donate too.
