My husband is in a lot of medication for his failing heart. One certain pill he use to take 40mg each but the doctor changed the prescription to 20mg a day. He was getting his 20 mg for a couple months and then when it was time to refill they gave him 40mg again. We called the doctor and she told us that he should be taking 20mg. My husband took the meds back to the pharmacy and they told him oh well, just cut them in half. #1 If we wouldn't have been paying attention he would have taken the 40mg and that would not have been good. #2 what ever happened to good customer service ? They should have taken them back and given homemade the correct prescription. They could have tossed the 40mg pills for all I care.

I would recommend going to CVS. Here is a quick guide on how to easily transfer your prescriptions to a new pharmacy. Call or visit the new pharmacy to request an Rx transfer. Give the new pharmacy the names of all the medications you want to transfer, along with dosage and Rx numbers. Provide your current pharmacy's contact information. The new pharmacy will contact your old pharmacy and take care of most of the process.

I went to this Walgreens a couple of days ago. I purchased the wrong diabetic strips I needed so I went back today. This Manager named Ben asked if I needed help and proceeded to help me. He mentioned if my purchase was again not right to come back and ask for him. He helped me to the register and even went back down the aisle to get me a second of my purchase. While at the register something wanky happened with the register and the clerk called for a manager to come help him

I switched to this Walgreens from the one on Milton Ave because the pharmacy tech always made me extremely uncomfortable. And the wait time, even after the prescription had been faxed in for an hour, was always 45 min plus to fill. I was actually fairly happy with how the Kettering location treated me, until I came across Bobbie Jo. I had to fill a prescription during a time that my insurance was changing because our company was sold and I had not received the new cards/information yet. I explained this when I dropped off to Carly (Carly is amazing and she helped me a lot without any issues) and she told me that it would be ok and offered to try the old insurance first, in case. When I went back to pick up my prescription Bobbie Jo announced, with attitude and a face of disgust like I was stealing or something, loud enough for other patrons to look at me with questions about my insurance and why I didn't have one that was being billed. I calmly re-explained the situation but still got attitude from her. AND, I'm pretty sure it is against HIPPA laws for everyone in the pharmacy to know my insurance situation. This was for an antibiotic for a failing root canal. I can only imagine how she would have treated me if I was picking up my anxiety meds.
