I was checked out by a lady I think named Jessica. She wore black lipstick, sunglasses, and all black hair. She told me I was approved for an Ulta credit card and it would only take a few minutes to set up. I politely declined saying “no thank you.” She looked at me and in a rude tone said “Really? You don’t want to save $13?” I said no thank you again and waited to pay. She repeated again and said “It will only take a few minutes to sign up, are you sure?” I AGAIN politely declined and she looked at me in disbelief and said my total. No means no. I understand you have to ask but when I say no, no means no and I shouldn’t be questioned or have someone judge me because I said no.

I love to come here. They carry a brand that is hard for me to find. I bought several Ulta brand makeup eyebrow pencil great buy, stick blush not to bad and lip crayon that I love.

Employees were standing around in groups gossiping by the doors as I walked in. I got my clinique mascara I was looking for. I asked an apparently dumb question about a brand you don't sell in stor, but maybe sell on-line. I walked to the checkout; I decided to leave as I was getting no alternative ideas or offers for help. As I checked out, I could hear them standing next to the doorway in their mean-girl group making fun of me and my question. These are your employees/representatives? They were plain rude.Wow!
This was my last trip/purchase at Ulta EVER! I normally use Clinique, but I can get that lots of places.
Here's the thing Ulta might want to remember....Sephora is right there at Uptown.

Went in to buy some dry shampoo and was told by an employee in an extremely rude tone of voice that I cannot spray the product because then it has to be damaged out. I have never been told this before when I have come in previously. I understand if the store doesn’t want customers spraying products (I was only spraying a tiny bit to see what it smelled like because for the price you pay for these products, I’m not going to purchase something and hate the smell) but there was no signage stating that you cannot do that anywhere in the hair products area of the store. I ultimately decided to put back what products I was going to purchase and walk out with nothing because of this and the rudeness of the employee. I will no longer be giving my business to any Ulta store in the future and will not recommend them to anyone.

Went in the store with my wife and every customer went to check out, the person would not stop including my wife trying to push credit card or rewards programs when a custome says they don't want to be a part of it stop asking. The image that this (i don't know what to call it) is not good, my wife says she will no longer go to this store

I was in the store for over half an hour before anyone spoke to me. Many workers were chatting amongst themselves and even swearing loud enough I could hear them. When someone finally did approach me and I asked for a specific product I'd gotten at an Ulta elsewhere she said they did not have them. Then she looked it up and said they didn't have them. I asked where the solid block brush cleaner was and she pointed me to it and there, right next to it was the product I'd asked for (the color changer for your eyeshadow brushes). Upon checkout I wasn't asked if I was using my Ulta card or my phone number I had to give it to her. Not normally my experience with Ulta.

Maddie (or Maddy I don’t know how she spells her name sorry!) is the BEST. I came in looking for advice on contour because I’m non binary and want my face to look more androgynous. She not only helped walk me through how to contour for a rounder face, but also helped teach me more about makeup than I ever previously knew. I seriously think this was the best experience I have ever had in ANY Ulta. She was so kind and caring, and also understanding!! She was very knowledgeable on the makeup she showed me, and i can tell that she is very passionate about her job. If she ever teaches make up classes, i would seriously pay and take them. She is amazing, and made me feel SO much more confident in learning how to do makeup. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I will definitely be returning!!

Hi:I visited my local Ulta in Janesville, WI, where I was promptly and politely greeted by, Pierce, one of your staff members. Pierce asked how they could help me and I said I’ve been researching perfumes online but was still undecided about what I wanted, and needed to smell them. Pierce said “would you like some help or suggestions?” I said I would love some. We talked about what I liked, what I currently wear, other perfumes I’ve tried. We talked about how I have to be careful because some give me migraines and we talked about what perfumes I already know I don’t like. Then Pierce walked me over and started sharing options and suggestions with me. Pierce was patient, kind, and willing to let me sniff anyone I wanted. Pierce made this a wonderful buying experience for me. I love getting new perfume but it can be intimidating…Pierce took all of the intimidation out of it. I walked away with one I wasn’t even originally considering because Pierce showed it to me and I loved it. We then tried it on my wrist to make sure it paired well with me. I’ve spent the rest of the day getting a wiff of this wonderful scent and I keep thinking, hmm what is that…then duh I realize it’s my new perfume!! I’m so happy. Pierce then offered to help me find anything else I needed and took my perfume to the counter. When I got the counter the other customer service person was busy with a customer, so Pierce rang me up, helped me swipe my Christmas gift cards and then I paid the difference and we were done. I left super happy and so glad for my choice to go when Pierce happened to be there, I don’t know him personally, but I will specifically be visiting when Pierce is working because the experience was 10 out of 10. Even my husband had nothing but great things to say…and he can be tough to please with those types of purchases. Pierce asked my husband if he needed any new cologne or wanted any suggestions which we both thought was so thoughtful. I hope this feedback gets back to management at this location, because Pierce is an asset to Ulta! I also submitted this directly on Ulta’s customer service website
