“Cannot thank CTR enough!! My truck broke down on the interstate 1500km from home at the end of a Friday. It blew a transmission line and was not able to drive. With very short notice CTR was able to diagnose a solution and repair the truck right away. The Tech even stayed late to get us back on the road, thank you for a quick and cost effective solution that was able to get us back home to Canada!! CTR is knowledgeable and skillful to handle any of your auto repair needs.

“Perfect experience, as always. I was a walk-in (no appointment) and was greeted in the parking lot by a gentleman named Spence. Both he and my service tech Jace (sp?) gave me updates while my vehicle was being serviced and I was in and out quickly. FREE tire rotation and balance since I purchased the tires at DT. :) Thanks so much to the Janesville staff. “Our car lost all power in the fast lane on the interstate driving from Chicago to Madison. Luckily, we were able to get halfway up the off-ramp before it died completely. It was the alternator. Lucky for us, we were right outside of Janesville and when I googled “mechanic near me”, Schoonover Auto popped up. Not only was James able to find an alternator for my type of car, it was fixed and we were back on the road in under 3 hours. Amazing service!!! Cannot recommend James and Schoonover enough!!Service: Electrical repair”

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but since I tell everyone I know, I might as well post it here.
Ever since I was young (and dumb, and had bad cars), I’ve looked everywhere I’ve lived for an auto shop run by honest folk who can squeeze you in when you’re in a jam. This is my place. I come here for everything. When they tell me I need a new tire, I know it’s the truth, because the last two times they could fix it with a plug or a patch, and they didn’t charge hardly anything for it.
One time, I was trying to help my stepson with a very weird problem. The boss here gave me his cell number so I could text him pictures of what I was trying to explain, and then he helped me diagnose the problem via text. Good luck getting that level of awesomeness at a big shop.
This is a good place run by good people. If you’re looking for an auto shop in Janesville, call them.”
