Beautiful, diverse gardens with helpful, knowledgeable staff. Peaceful, unique, and well cared for. Mostly maintained by volunteers. A must see.

This place is beautiful and well worth the trip if you don't live in Janesville or nearby. It's one of the beauties of Wisconsin. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because parking is a nightmare. It took a long time to find a spot. Also, pets aren't allowed. That's not a bad thing, but when we were there, a couple had to turn around and go home because they brought their dog. This is a light show you don't want to miss!

Make sure you visit all the park before 5 pm, they'll chase you out 5 minutes before 5 pm, but still very polite way.

This place is magical. I've been to weddings here, taken elderly relatives here, went on dates here, had photos taken here. It's a wonderful, special place to visit if you enjoy nature. The sunken garden is my favorite feature, along with the bridge and English garden. It's always a little different too depending on art installations and what's in bloom. A must visit in my book.
