I prefer to donate here because it feels better than making the owner of Goodwill richer.

Well I would have given this place another star, but I cannot give them that due to Re tag it not having a public bathroom.Let's see now. Goodwill, Salvation Army, Gifts Thrift, Agrace all have public bathrooms. But the one owned by a hospital does not let customers use the bathroom. Get it right Mercy.Until they get this fixed, I will not return.

I got some delicious shrimp and lobster from the South Padre Seafood truck, and I'm trying my very best to reduce the amount of nonrecyclable COVID19 food related polystyrene and plastic I get. It's hard, and I've gotten into such a habit of turning down plasticware, individual condiment packets, plastic straws, etc. that I ended up with this really messy, enticing food truck food without utensils. This thrift store has cheap but nice flatware, I also ended up buying some antique kitchen utensils I haven't seen since Kennedy was President. The women running the place are a hoot, they were very suspicious when I took my YELP PICs, and explaining it was for YELP didn't help them understand. Sort of like too many of my colleagues at work they just aren't up on all the "technology." They have a little bit of a lot of odds and ends, and a lot of some peculiar 1960s small town bric-a-brac and bits and bobs. Many items for sale here were vaguely familiar to me, but I couldn't recall their names or even what they were used for. The expression that would describe this situation in the vernacular of the time period when everyone did know and use said paraphernalia would be that "I had smog in the noggin." If you're in the area, check it out Daddy-O, it's the ginchiest.
