I went into the store searching for a new muzzle for my adult German Shepherd--the muzzle I had was plastic and several pieces had snapped, and was no longer safe for my boy to wear. My GS only wears a muzzle when he plays with his 25" horseman rubber ball! He likes to bite it and they pop! We are on ball 6 out of 4 years.I walked into the Mounds and was immediately greeted with a Welcome to Mounds and a huge smile by the cashier Jack K. I asked him where the muzzles were located and he said, in front of my register. Cool. Thank you, I said.However, muzzles are very different today than they were 5 years ago! Jack saw me struggling with which one to go with, and he called someone over to assist me; without me asking for help! It was Awesome! I did not catch the lady's name that assisted me, but she was VERY Helpful!I ended up purchasing a cloth muzzle, and to be honest, I believe it works better than the full mouth plastic muzzle I had! Again, I am only using it for playtime with a particular ball.Muzzles are great for protecting the dog and other people and dogs if the dog is anxious, unsure, or aggressive! It just needs to be fitted properly and the dog must be conditioned to the muzzle. Same thing with any training devices!Anyway, my experience at Mounds in Janesville, WI was very pleasant and awesome! I've been going to this Mounds since 2006, and have always had a good experience. But yesterday, Sat. March 3, 2024, was exceptional!Thank you to the 2 people that assisted me and Ace!

The staff at Badger Veterinary Hospital were understanding of our situation and accommodating after we were turned away by other vets in the area as we didn't live in Janesville and were not clients already.The veterinarian at Badger Veterinary Hospital made an emotional experience as comfortable as possible while we were 6 hours from home on the day after Thanksgiving.We were pleasantly surprised to receive a handwritten note along with paw prints to remember Rosie with in the mail a few days after returning home. That meant a lot to our family, especially our 9 year old daughter.

Other vets at JVC East are usually not quite as good as Dr Mike, but still decent enough. Giving 5 stars because veterinary care is becoming difficult to find.

We have had several different veterinarians and all have treated my pets as their own. With all the craziness the pandemic brought they always made my pets comfortable going in and they looked delighted coming out. Several times they have opted to wait on expensive procedures to see if what we tried worked first. We talk through options and decide on the best and most cost effective treatment. We are very happy with their service and their professionalism.

Not only did he train Roux, but he also trained us humans how to work best with our dog and how to stay committed to working with her in the long run. Recently, when she turned 3, Roux developed some troubling behaviors and we immediately called John! He helped us address her aggression and insecurity with humans and dogs. 4700 S County Rd G, JanesvilleTook our Calvin here to get him neutered, long acting pain meds, exam, vaccinated, ears cleaned, and a mani/pedi. I think the total cost for everything was $109/$110 and the care he received was amazing so needless to say we’ll be taking the rest of our cats here for their routine exams/vaccinations because the last place I had to take my rescued cats to wanted nearly $300 just for routine tests/an exam. No shots/meds/spay/neuter and that was IF they didn’t find anything wrong on just one cat.They must’ve gave him the good stuff because I’ve literally never seen him this relaxed before, once the initial high wore off. He did get really hyperactive around 9/10pm and started SCREAMING bloody murder because he was higher than giraffe balls. But he’s calmed down significantly now. (Yes he was dressed as a shrimp)So yeah if you need an affordable vet clinic please take your pets here (:
