I have Quartz insurance. I went to see Dr Bautista on November 2, 2022 for my checkup. I checked in and was told I did not have a copay because Quartz has a wellness visit once a year with no copay. They turned around and sent me a bill for my copay. I called and questioned this and was told that Bautista had put down multiple items so it was coded as being 2 visits. I had no concerns at this time, just answered multiple questions he asked me. They have the right to do this according to Quartz and Mercy health. They can charge as many copays as they see fit. As expensive as health care is and to be charged double? What a scam!

Dr. Nelson was very friendly, but did not do the proper protocols for an exam. Staff not courteous. This place has an air of conceit about it. A hospital should by and large abide by the oath to help and heal..not make money the pinnacle of success.

Very clean and Covid safe. Signs for stairs are accurately posted for avoidance of the elevator. Dr. Visits are on-time. Pharmacy on-site is handy and quick. Thank you for your service Mercy East!!

At one of my annual visits to my doctor at Mercy East one of the receptionists who checked me into my appointment told me to stand on the blue sticker on the ground 6 feet away from her, which I do understand with the COVID-19 pandemic going on. Yet she didn't say anything to any of the other patients who were standing right up to the front desk. Plus, the receptionists and nurses were chatting with each other about non work related topics. Looking at each other's pictures on their phones, and gossiping badly about other coworkers and sharing personal stories right at the front desk in front of me and the other patients in the waiting room. I find this very unprofessional.

All Dr Nelson did was take a tissue sample, and send me on my merry way.I've called twice to discuss the MRSA wound, and I guess they are not understanding how this new fangled gadget called a telephone works.Heads up Dr. Nelson, it works both ways.

Todays (5/15/19) urgent care doctor is worthless. Would not listen to me at all and told me there was nothing he could do for a tube that has fallen out and lodged itself in my ear. Cant get into ent until next week.

Very rude passive aggressive check in person/receptionist made my trip to urgent care an unpleasant experience. There is no need to be hostile to me when I am checking in a sick toddler. Check in ladies name was Nona.

I received the utmost in care and respect in their vision center. I had a very bad experience at another Mercy vision facility, and the managers at Mercy East were absolutely wonderful. They did everything in their power to help my situation. I was buying glasses for my infant daughter with my toddler tagging along. My baby was treated like she mattered. The employee also had a full on conversation with my 3 year old, like she was the most fascinating person on the planet. I could not have been more pleased. If you need glasses, I could not recommend Mercy East more highly.

If you need assistance, don't bother contacting Dr. Michael Angeline here at Mercy East Janesville. The Orthopedics Development likes to close as early as 1 pm on Fridays.
