A terrific overall experience. Josh was our salesperson. He was nothing short of professional, polite and completely respectful. He genuinely cared about answering all of our questions, sometimes twice. The product itself is top notch. The price more than competitive with other brands. I Highly recommend and will certainly be a repeat customer!

Be very careful when purchasing anything from Johnson Tractor. On 6/26/2023 I purchased a tractor from salesman Michael Frantz at Johnson Tractor. After receiving the tractor I found it did not run well and would not operate implements under load. When looking at the tractor for the cause there were indications that it had at some time been UNDER WATER. I contacted Johnson tractor and they denied any knowledge of this. I then contacted the salesman Michael Frantz and the dealer to repair or return the tractor. They refused to do anything. Not even to get the tractor to run properly. If they backed what they sell you'd expect they should at least make an attempt to resolve the situation. I have tried since then to get this resolved but salesman Michael Frantz and Johnson Tractor continue to refuse to do anything. From my experience it appears as though once the tractor leaves their business any issues are the buyer's responsibility to fix.

Terrible on every level. I called them to pick up my simplicity lawnmower because it was leaking oil on my garage floor. They picked it up “repaired and serviced” it. Then billed me over $500. They dropped it back off, a few days later I noticed oil on the floor again so I called them up, they told me that’s just residual oil leaking from the oil filter and not to worry about it. I took them for their word. After a couple more mows later the engine seized up and the mower is now trash. Johnson tractor very rudely told me it’s my fault and there’s nothing they can do. If you’re in the market for a new mower or lawn tractor go to Menards or Home Depot.

We have had many good experiences with Johnson Tractor in Janesville. Kathryn in sales made sure everything was fixed on our used tractor we recently purchased, Matt and Riley in the service department stayed on top of getting the repairs turned around in a timely fashion and Danner and Matt in service did a great job getting everything fixed and ready to go!
