Dr Mike is fantastic. He actually came up with a long-term plan to treat my dog's chronic allergy issues whereas previous vet office used ineffective short-term treatments.
Other vets at JVC East are usually not quite as good as Dr Mike, but still decent enough. Giving 5 stars because veterinary care is becoming difficult to find.

Awesome experience. We took our dog over here after he suddenly stopped walking. They went out of their way to get him in right away. The vet tech was amazing. Dr Alli was knowledgeable and compassionate. We were so thankful for them.

Absolutely amazing vet! The whole team here were super accommodating in our emergency. Our dog got a fishing lure stuck in her mouth while on vacation, and this office was the first to appear in our "find vet near me". We were so fortunate they were able to take us. They were all so sweet, were able to get us in right away, and took great care of our girl. They understood we were all in trauma mode, and treated us all so kindly. Absolute godsend! We are forever greatful for Dr. Ally and her team!

I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this veterinary clinic. You can really tell how much they care about animals. They are very proactive and up to date on the latest things in the veterinary world and do a lot of continuing education which really shows. My boyfriend did a lot of research on Vets when we moved to Janesville and decided on them and now that I’ve had experience dealing with them and taking our 17 year old diabetic cat here for care I can really see why he chose them and I feel really good about that decision and the care that he has received. I think that Dr. Uphill is amazing I liked her vibe the minute I met her I think she has all of the qualities that make a person an exceptional veterinarian. All of the other staff have been extremely kind and compassionate you can just tell they love what they do and have a true passion for it which makes a huge difference when people love what they do you can just tell.

My dog is a rather new patient, but they literally saved her life last week. The East and West locations are both fantastic and we will never go anywhere else. She had an urgent surgery a week ago and everyone we’ve come into contact with has been so empathetic and wonderful. Very informative, educating me on what to expect post op and following up almost everyday since. I cannot say enough good things about them, I would give more than 5 stars if possible!

I was beyond impressed by this facility! I have been to other fear-free certified vets, but this clinic was the best experience I've ever had. All staff were truly phenomenal and so patient with my new dog, a large breed that hasn't been socialized. I have extensive experience with rescue dogs and dogs with anxiety, and have had my fair share of vet visits. I understand that things need to be done in a timely manner to stay on schedule, and at other clinics (even fear-free ones) I have felt that appointments were rushed, and dogs were pushed past their comfort zone too quickly- but NOT here! My dog was hesitant to even walk indoors, and all the staff were incredibly patient, getting low, looking away, fed her a million treats (asking my permission and whether she has any allergies). It didn't take long for her to get comfortable and I feel if I had went to any other vet and had this process rushed that she would have had a negative experience. The vet, Dr. Alli, sat on the floor with her and talked with us for longer than I've ever had a conversation with a vet, she seemed really interested in her care and thoroughly answered all my questions. They had calming music playing in the room, and were mindful of other pets within the facility to avoid interactions that could be stressful. When I called to schedule my appointment, they got me in next-day. As long as I live in Wisconsin, I will be utilizing this vet. Fantastic job team :)
