Right now you call from your car when your appointment time is, and they'll let you in, when you're masked, they will also be masked. Safety first! Pets do not need to wear masks... for now! Recently went to Janesville Vet Clinic East with my fuzzy chi boy, Sir Paris Von Floof, for his paw check up. We saw Dr. Nicole. Now, this was a bit confusing, as we had previously gone to the West clinic, and called for a follow up, and no one told us to go to the other clinic, so we were late to the follow up, but it's all good, because they aren't too far apart, and we were allowed to be late. The techs and Dr. Nicole are all very, very nice. They adore Sir Paris, and spend most of the visit telling him how cute he is, which he is quite aware of, but never gets sick of hearing about. I really thought it was quite thoughtful how many signs they had up regarding important health and safety information, regarding such things as "NO HUGS OR HANDSHAKES WILL BE GIVEN which is especially hard for the staff during times of euthanasia" (paraphrasing, possibly? Going from memory), all rooms are sanitized after each use, and the sign warning that peanut butter is used in all exam rooms, so if you have an allergy, let them know. I mean, this is important stuff that you should see in more vet offices, but you don't. They're really stepping up the game here. They have a basket of dog toys in the hallway. Paris got his nails trimmed, tested his paws for yeast, and got some medicated wipes for his little feetses, we're going to wait and see if this stops him from incessantly licking/chewing his paws and legs. This place is kinda moderately pricey, but it's very nice, there's no wait, and they're very nice.
