love, love, love this nail salon!! i’d say it’s the best one in janesville to go to. My friend and I always go here for our nails. Van is the one who always does our designs and does a fabulous job and never disappoints me!! I would highly recommend going here.
Requested style: we both wanted 4th of july themed nails.

I can't say I recommend Hollywood Nails. The salon was quiet with no music or tv, and one of the owners was taking a loud phone call on speaker phone. There's not many color choices, and some of the nail polish bottles are clearly old and expired. Finally, the two younger male workers clearly need a lot more training. My pedicure was pretty bad due to a combination of old nail polish and an inexperienced technician. However, I have to note that when the owners saw my pedicure, she immediately removed the nail polish and reapplied another color. Ultimately, what I ended up with was half way decent, and I appreciate the effort to fix the issue.

I recently visited for a mani pedi and it was started by two guys. One on my feet and one on my fingernails. The one that was doing my nails was the boss lady's son and he was using the little dremel tool thing and cut the cuticle on my thumb open. He then proceeded to put alcohol on cotton and press down really hard till I couldn't take it. Then he just moved on like nothing happened. His mother did ask me at one point if her son caused my cut and i said yes and she just reprimanded him. The mother (van i think?) then took over and the whole time I sat in the pedi chair. I thought I was impressed with my nails but I was/am impressed with the color. I attend cosmetology school and they all agreed my nails are flat as can be. No apex added whatsoever which means the likelihood of them snapping off are very high. It was a surprise treat from my boyfriend and it turned out to be a lot of hassle and regret. I regret paying over 100$ for what happened there that day.

The owner did a wonderful job with my nail art! She skillfully put her own twist on my requested style and I loved them even more than the reference picture!!! Her employees take their time to ensure the nail shape was perfect and if I was happy with the length.

Worst experience we've ever had getting pedicures. My attendant was rough in moving my feet, asked what was 'wrong' with my feet, didn't buff/smooth the tops of nails AND I now have an infection in the cuticle of my big toe. Clearable (I'm hoping) through soaking in soapy water. Horrible. My friend and I both vowed to never go back.

everyone here is so lively and kind; made me feel right at home. I was so nervous because I really don’t like nail salons mostly because of customer service but this place exceeded my expectations; they offered me water and were polite as can be I will definitely be coming back as soon as I can!

Absolutely love this place! My mom and I go together every two to three weeks, they are so sweet and kind. Our nails always turn out amazing plus their prices are great. The atmosphere there is also perfect, I can't recommend them enough!

I've been to 3 locations to get dip done in my natural nails, this was the only place that I came to in which the dip lasted longer than a week. It actually lasted my 2.5 week's as my nails grow fast. I never have an issue, customer service is excellent and once the dip cracked on my other finger (I type with my nails) I called they told me to come right back in and they fixed it without any questions.
