“Went shopping here for the first time in a long time to try a new store and was super impressed. They had a great selection and the shelves were all stocked. Check out was easy and I love that they have the option to drive your car up and have your vehicle loaded for you, that is super unique and great for older people especially! Will definitely be one of our regular stops now!”
“I left the case for my sunglasses in a cart. So I called the number and they don't even let you call the actual store. The recording says they do this to save money. I went back a few days later and someone turned in the case.”

“Stopped in for dinner "on a lark". My wife and I both had the "prix fixe" that was 3 courses. The highlight was the fantastic stuffed pepper! 1st course was very good but the dessert pancake bread pudding should have been served with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Instead it had a whipped topping that quickly became a mess on the hot pudding.We are new to the southern Wisconsin scene but this is now on our list of favorites- all because of a stuffed pepper...”

“This place had everything I needed from a gas station. The store is very clean. The gentleman working, Jim, was extremely friendly and helpful. He had a smile on his face and treated everybody in the same manner. He really impressed me with how enjoyable he could make a trip to a gas station be.”
“I much prefer shopping here over all of the other places to shop in town. You always see the same faces, the quality of their produce is amazing, and they have the best bratwurst I have ever had. Most of the associates smile and are friendly. Self check out is a breeze if you don’t want to stand in line.”
“Large inviting store. Big produce area with a virety of options including hard to find hot peppers. Huge refridgerator and frozen section of many aisles. Employees very approachable and helpful. Weekly sales and coupons for extra savings. Easy to navigate parking. Fast moving check out. New to Janesville and I will shop here again.”
“Even if you're ID is Real! Cashier's do not have to tell you why they think it is fake, not you, or has been tampered with. If questionable or you are legal with underage "Friends" at the check out either everyone needs carded or you if they are doing their job right, need to be DENIED! We can lose our jobs! Get fine lots of money or go to jail if you are underage or using a fake, tampered with, or someone who looks like you, ID or buying for minors. I have been coming here a long time and yes, the employees aren't always the greatest BUT the owner actually do get after employees who don't do their jobs. Sometimes you're stuck with bad employees while you look for good ones. And normally they are required to salt and or shovel but again, sometimes employees are lazy. I did work for this company so I can you that the owner does actually require things to get done properly, you just can't always control staff, only hope to find employees who want to work.”
“This is, and will forever be, the best store in town! The store manager and her staff are some of the nicest, down to earth employees I've ever known. Each staff is willing to go above and beyond for every customer. My only complaint, is that corporate doesn't care about these people. They don't pay them what they're worth. They don't help them in tangible meaningful ways. This Dollar General is the best, its just a shame that corporate doesnt give a single you know what.”

Luckily they had the right size in stock and they made the whole refund rebuy process super easy. Also their energy was nice they both were in good moods which made it even better. Shout out them.”
